The dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. by e Stewardship Board prior to e 7:00 p.m. worship service. The meal for is week is Italian Beef sandwiches, pasta salad and chips. MEN'S BIBLE BREAKFAST We meet again Saturday, December 15 at 7am in e Riverside Hospital Cafeteria. Come and get some breakfast, and join us as we study God s Word. I pray at you can join us for e study! Tables of Eight 2019 Have you ever said hello to someone at church on Sunday morning and ought They seem nice. I d like to get to know em better.? Well, now is your chance! St. Paul s Tables of Eight 2019 begins in January and so it is time to sign up for is fun social event! Four randomly grouped couples meet once a mon for four mons in each oers homes for dinner. This is a purely social event and a great way to get to know each oer better. The dates for is year s dinners are January 26, rd rd February 23, March 23 and April 27 (all Saturdays). You need to be able to host 8 adults for dinner. This event is for adults only, giving parents a night out on eir own. If you cannot host 8 people or cannot attend all four dinners, we always need substitutes and you are welcome to sign up on our alternate list. Sign ups will take place after services December 9 and 16. Stop by our table in e cafeteria during coffee hour or talk to Lynda after church on Saturdays to find out more about Tables of Eight and sign up for e fun! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD UPDATE I am pleased to report at 180 shoe boxes were delivered to e pick up location in Gibson City, Illinois a few days before Thanksgiving. Sufficient funds were received to ship all of e boxes! This means at 180 children and eir families will be touched by e Gospel! To God be e glory! In a few weeks we will know where our boxes were sent. The LWML ladies are very interested in continuing is project next year and we will be working on a few ideas to revitalize our efforts. The Sunday School Christmas program for Pre3-6 grade is approaching. The program will be Sunday, December 16 at 5:00 pm at e church in Kankakee. There is a practice at e downtown location on Saturday, December 15 from 9-11 am. All children are invited to join us as we celebrate e bir of Jesus! MANGER MAKERS DELIVER The Manger Makers will be delivering manger pieces to Sunday School children on December 9 and 16. Look for e table in e upper grade school hallway. 1) Pre 3's will receive e Holy Family consisting of Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. 2) Pre 4's will receive an angel. 3) Kindergarten rough 7 graders will receive kneeling kings. 4) 8 graders will receive a stable, which should complete eir set. ALTAR FLOWER CHART The Flower Chart for 2019 is up. The chart will be posted at e downtown church rough December and en will be moved out to e school site.
