Saturday of Souls The Orthodox Church remembers the departed in prayers during every Divine Liturgy. Our Greek Orthodox Church sets aside four Saturdays in which the Church also remembers the departed, known as Saturday of Souls. It is customary for the family of the deceased to bring a dish Kolyva to the Church. Please pick up a form, in the Narthex, to offer the names of those beloved family members who have fallen asleep. Bring the completed form along with your Kolyva to the service you will be attending. Saturday of Souls in 2017 are: th th th rd February 18 & 25, March 4, June 3 ~ Orthros is at 8:30 am, Divine Liturgy is at 9:30 am St. Nectarios Greek School Registration for the 2017/2018 Greek School Program is now OPEN! Applications and the school calendar are available online at www.stnectariosgoc.org or stop by the Greek School Office for a complete registration packet.
