You re invited... to come visit The Church of the Resurrection and experience our worship and ministries. No matter where you re coming from, you ll find a place at Resurrection to fit right in. We are one church in four locations, with campuses in Leawood and Olathe, KS, and Downtown Kansas City and Blue Springs, MO. Come check out why people are excited to call Resurrection their church home: Worship that inspires A place to grow in faith at every age People who care for one another A community seeking to change the world Visit our website at www.cor.org, or stop by Connection Point Guest Services at any of our four campuses before or after worship. We ll be glad to talk to you personally, answer your questions and help your find your place at Resurrection. THE RESURRECTION STORY The Church of the Resurrection began in 1990 with the dream of launching a church that would reach people who were not actively involved in a church, help them see how the Christian faith could change their lives and how they, in turn, could change the world. Today Resurrection is one of America s fastest-growing churches and the country s largest United Methodist church. Wondering if you ll be able to connect with such a large church? Resurrection s Group Life Ministry offers many opportunities for you to engage in small groups where you can get to know other members of our congregation as you learn, grow and serve together. And speaking of serving, check out the variety of volunteer opportunities within the church, in the Kansas City community and throughout the world. Learn more about Group Life and Missions in other sections of this welcome guide. We are proud to be part of the United Methodist Church, in which current membership stands at over 12 million worldwide. Methodists have a passionate faith with strong convictions, but we also recognize the world is not always black and white. We are willing to ask questions and wrestle with difficult issues, and we strive to do so with grace and compassion.
