*HYMN We Sing Your Mighty Power, O God No. 64 GATHERING PRAYER A WORD WITH THE CHILDREN: Praise A PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN SINGING THE CHILDREN OUT I ve Got Peace Like a River No. 530 I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river, I ve got peace like a river in my soul (repeat). (the children may go to their program) PRAYER OF RECONCILIATION (in unison) Lord God, you teach us right from wrong. But we ignore you. We are quick to take revenge on those who hurt us. We pay more attention to what our friends think of us than to what we know is right. Even when we know that others are hurt by what we do, we make no changes. Loving God, forgive us, for we pray in Jesus name. Amen. KYRIE Day by Day No. 599 Day by Day, day by day, O, dear Lord, three things I pray: to see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, follow thee more nearly, day by day. Day by day, by day, by day, by day. *WORDS OF ASSURANCE (please stand as you are able) *RECEIVING AND SHARING GOD S LOVE (by handshake, embrace, or with hands folded) The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.
