Discipline Policy * DRE= Director of Religious Education 1. Minor discipline problems are handled directly by the catechist in the classroom. 2. The first time a major problem occurs, the student is dismissed from class and reports to the DRE office. The DRE meets with the student to discuss the problem and possible solutions. The student remains in the office for the reminder of that class. The DRE will also visit with catechist after class that night. Parents will be contacted regarding the disciplinary action. 3. If the student s asked to leave class a second time, he or she again will report to the DRE s office. The DRE will again visit with the student and talk with the catchiest. Parents are contacted, the student will not be allowed to attend class until a conference has been held with the parent, student, DRE and catechist. At the conference, options on disciplinary actions in the future will be presented and agreed upon by all present. Cell Phones: Students maybe asked to place their cell phones in a basket when they enter class this will be at the discretion of the Catechist. Attendance Policy Regular attendance at Faith Formation classes is very important for the continual spiritual growth. Please have children arrive 5 minutes early, arriving late is disruptive to the rest of the class. If you know your child will be late or gone please make sure you contact with the Director of Religious Education (DRE). Class Cancellation/Changes The rule of thumb is that when there is no school or students are sent home for severe weather we will NOT have Faith Formation classes. If a storm develops later in day, we will send e-mails out, advertise on KAAL and social media. If any schedule changes come up we will sent home notice and e-mail parents.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen. Act of Love O my God, I love you above all things with my whole heart and soul because you are all good and worth of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you.
