HOLLIS HAPPENINGS August 12, 2012 We ask that you read all the Hollis Happenings at a later time. It is filled with information and announcements that will keep you completely aware of everything that is happening in your church. Say It With Flowers: Plan to commemorate an Anniversary, Birthday, Special event or Memorial with a dedication of altar flowers. Please place your donation of $30.00 in a pew envelope in the collection plate at least two weeks prior to that special Sunday. This will cover the cost of the bouquet and the dedication. The form to order flowers is in the Narthex, pick up one as you enter the Sanctuary. We are now taking orders for August 19, 2012. We will be worshiping in Lorne Brown Hall every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. from now until the end of August. RECRUITING FOR ALL C.E. MINISTRIES- Summer Enrichment Program (Summer Camp), Church School, Youth Ministry. Summer camp ( has two sessions) the first is July 2-27 and July 30 - August 17. Registration forms are in Church Office. See Sheila Baxter for details. SAVE THE DATE: On September 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. our new member Brother Ron Crichlow is bringing his Gospel Ensemble, RCE, to Hollis Presbyterian Church in celebration of our Homecoming/Family & Friends Weekend. We will be asking for your support as Patrons, Supporters, and Boosters in order to cover expenses, rather than selling tickets. IT S NOT TOO LATE to join us for the experience of a lifetime on the Pilgrimage to the Holy Lands, October 15-25. The good news is she is no longer on dialysis. Doret can be reached through the Caring Bridge website. Please drop her a note of encouragement and prayer.
