Trinity 101 is a discipleship course that covers the following: Baptist History, Trinity in Baptist Life, Trinity s Organizational Structure, and Trinity s Leadership Structure. This is an excellent class if you are new to Trinity, but I have found that many members who have been a part of Trinity for years can find it helpful. I have been leading this class on Sunday nights for the last several years, but this winter we are going to offer this class during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 am in Room C104. It is my hope that this time change will make this information more readily available to more of our membership. We have two sessions planned. Each session is for a three-sunday period. TRINITY 101 Connecting with TBC FIRST SESSION Sundays Jan. 27, Feb. 3, and Feb. 10 9:45 am Rm C104 SECOND SESSION Sundays March 24, March 31, and April 7 9:45 am Rm C104 This is a great opportunity to get to know more about your church and our ministry together. If you are a regular Sunday School attender, you will simply come to these sessions during Sunday School and then return to your class after the sessions are complete. To sign up you can go to the Narthex Sign-Up board or go online to tbcraleigh.com and look at Discipleship 2019 at the bottom of the home page. You can also call the church office at 919-787-3740. Come and join me as we explore what it means to be a part of Trinity Baptist Church. Tuesday Night Training (TNT) A Study of Revelation: Terror & Triumph 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Men Facilitator: Dr. Jeff Roberts FH Women Facilitator: Robin Roberts C303 TNT is a small group Bible study for men and women, that mirrors the Wednesday Night Pastor s study, but in a small group format. This winter we will follow a Baptist Way Press study of the book of Revelation.

WELCOME HOUSE COMMUNITY NETWORK It is with great joy that we expand our partnership with CBF Field Personnel, Marc and Kim Wyatt, and their ministry with refugee and international families here in the Triangle. As their Encourager Church, we covenant to pray for them and their ministry, to provide a helping hand in service, and to help support the ministry s program needs. Currently, WHCN is planning to have a class for the 1-3 year olds that meets while their parents are in ESL class at the Smithdale apartment community. One of the necessary requirements to begin this class is to have 2 teachers per class session focused on the 1-3 year olds. Presently we have between 1-4 children that come to class with their parents/grandparents. As soon as we have 2 volunteers per Tuesday and Thursday from 1-3p.m., the class will begin. The same teachers are not needed for each class, but a rotation of teachers and a typical plan for the class is the goal. Contact Lydia at ltatum@tbcraleigh.com if you are interested in serving in this capacity!

Rev. Steve Byers, slbyers@tbcraleigh.com Special thanks to Jessica Isaacs for her beautiful solo in worship this past Sunday morning. As we begin a new season of music ministry, we look forward to hearing a variety of music from our choirs, ensembles, and soloists as we engage in worship at Trinity. sss The Sanctuary Choir will have its choir retreat on January 25 and 26 at the church. Originally, it was scheduled for January 11 and 12, but we are going to delay it a couple of weeks and work on our music for January and February worship. This is a great time to join the choir in between seasons. The choir will be focusing on the Easter cantata, April 14, which will be presented in both morning services. It s not too late to begin the new year in a choir! There are choirs and ensembles for all ages, and there are many groups that have plenty of room for you to come and join in on the fellowship and musical fun. Rev. Hal Melton, hmelton@tbcraleigh.com HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let s celebrate this New Year! How you ask? Let your mind and your body travel this year! Where would you like to go?
