Retreat Suggestions Let us do the planning or create your vision. A Retreat Back In Time A Retreat to Enhance Communication A Retreat to Self-Awareness Take the time dig deeper into Roslyn s coal mining past. After a delicious breakfast at Huckleberry House, begin the morning with a stop at the Roslyn Museum, spend time here and schedule a tour of the cemetery just a few blocks away. Once you have worked up an appetite hoof it to Roslyn Café (weekends) located next door to the museum. After lunch make your way to the Coal Miner s Memorial just down the street--every life lost in the mines is commemorated here. Continue wandering the town to see the homes that put the entire town of Roslyn on the National Historic Register. Stop at The Brick, Washington s oldest tavern, for a drink before dinner at Swiftwater Cellars Hoist House built above the # 9 Mine. Clean mountain air, quiet and being surrounded by trees can lift our spirits. What s most important becomes clear and we find the strength and space to share our thoughts. Begin with a working breakfast at Huckleberry House, talking over steaming cups of your favorite hot drink eating melt in your mouth scones with locally made huckleberry jam. When its time to get the blood flowing, hop on the Coal Mines Trail just below the house, it s wide enough to accommodate groups of all sizes. Return to a special luncheon set at Stonehouse 101, catered by Rustic Root Catering. Breakout sessions can take place on the lovely grounds just outside. Finish the day with a Wine Tasting complete with hors d oerves at Vintage Vine. Begin the day early with a quiet meditation in the yoga space at Huckleberry House. Enjoy a healthy breakfast made with the freshest, organic and local ingredients. Take a walk around town returning in time for a yoga class either at Huckleberry House (small groups) or down the street at Roslyn Fitness (large groups). Have lunch catered at Sister Moon Spa in Cle Elum then indulge in a wide range of luxurious treatments. After that, follow the heart relax, paint, journal, read, take a walk to the river, drive up to the lake, head into the woods, explore the back alleyways and/ or do nothing. Enjoy dinner in town at Village Pizza and end the day in the Huckleberry House hot tub, in quiet contemplation under a starlit sky. 6
