www.saintritas.org J F : What is in nc on and is it allowed in the Catholic Church? In nc on is the process of dipping the consecrated host into the chalice of The Precious Blood and then consuming it. The Catholic Church does not allow this ac on. One receives the Eucharist, one does not take it. Taking communion is only allowed to the priest. (At masses with a deacon you will no ce even he receives the Eucharist, he does not take it.) By dipping the host, one is taking the Precious Blood and not receiving it. The only way in nc on is allowed is if the Eucharis c Minister would dip the host into the chalice and then give it to the recipient. 2018 Perennial Plant Sale will be Sat., June 2nd, from 9:00 to Noon.
