God want us to seek good and do justice; then truly will God be with us. How do you pray for civil leaders to establish justice? For church leaders to increase justice in the church for all? How do you offer your heart to God for the work of justice and righteousness? *Canticle of Zechariah #110 Invitation to the Offering Now Bless the God of Israel Offertory My Faith Looks Up To Thee arr. Almighty God, who by the hand of Moses led the people of Israel out of slavery, and freed them: grant that your Church, following the example of your prophet Martin Luther King, may resist oppression in the name of love, and may strive to secure liberty and justice for all people. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Let Justice Flow Like Streams * Sending and Blessing One: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
