Deuteronomy 32:6 Father, thank you for creating me and Matthew 6:9 establishing my footsteps. Father, I never take it for granted that I can call on you as father in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 Thank you for your great compassion that I need when I sin. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Father let me learn to comfort others with the comfort you give me. Psalm 87:7 Father, I love to sing about how you bless my life. My fountains are overflowing. 2 Corinthians 9:8 Let me remember that you are so abundant providing everything I need in all times for every good work. Significant Statements God is the God of all comfort not the God of the all comfortable. Don t make promises you can t keep. Only promise when you have the control and fulfill it quickly. Breaking promises stinks up a relationship more than a dirty diaper stinks up an entire house. God enjoys saying Yes, to us as much as we enjoy saying Yes to our kids. Taking hold of Christ means you passionately set your heart on mind on him by being in the Word of God, claiming the promises of God, being obedient and determined to say Yes and Amen.
