We extend a sincere welcome to our visitors. It s a privilege to have you with us. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the morning offering. Forreston Grove s 2018 White Gift offering totaled $60,754. 93. Thank you to the congregation for your generous contributions! Women s Fellowship board announced Women's Fellowship held its annual meeting last Sunday. The new board for 2019 consists of returning members Janel Jones and Misty Ratledge, and new members Renee Fink and Sarah Sundquist. We thank outgoing board members Linda DeVries and for their service! Communion next Sunday We will celebrate holy communion during the morning worship service next Sunday, January 20th. Please prepare your heart to partake in the Lord s Supper. Pioneer Club continues next Wednesday The winter session of Pioneer Club begins January 23rd and continues Wednesday nights through March 27th. Annual meeting set for January 27th Forreston Grove s annual meeting will take place immediately following the morning worship service on Sunday, January 27th. Inquirers class to begin February 3rd If you re interested in learning more about membership at Forreston Grove, an upcoming inquirers class is for you! We ll learn about Forreston Grove s beliefs and history, and what membership is all about. This 4-week class will be led by Pastor Drew and will meet during the Sunday School hour from February 3rd through the 24th. Prayer Concerns Pray that Forreston Grove Church would overflow with love for God, one another, and our community. Pray that we would live beautiful, holy lives. Pray that we would strive to glorify the Lord in all we do, think, and say. Pray that the Session would faithfully lead, shepherd, and defend the flock. Pray that the deacons and trustees would diligently look after the physical needs of the church. Pray that we would be devoted to prayer and reading God s Word. Pray that we would both individually and as one body joyfully share the good news of Jesus Christ with all who will hear. Pray for safety, fun and spiritual growth for the 5 young ladies and 2 chaperones who will be traveling from Forreston Grove this weekend to Newark, Illinois for winter retreat! Remember our officer nominees as they prepare for service.
