First Reading: 1. Charles (Chuck) and Cathy Jenson will be transferring from the Simi Valley SDA Church (Simi Valley, CA), to the Hayward SDA Church, (Hayward, CA) 2.. Robert and Judith Powell will be transferring from the Hayward SDA Church (Hayward, CA), to Middleton SDA Church (Middleton, CA) Member Tammy Jimenez was admitted to San Leandro Kaiser due to chest pain Friday, October 27. She was transferred to Santa Clara Kaiser for a procedure Sabbath morning October 28. Praise the Lord! Tammy Jimenez was discharged home today, Oct. 28th. All her tests came back normal. She is resting and recovering at home. Thank you for all your prayers! You can still be a part of our New Church Directory! Marge Schwartz (our previous Pathfinder director) informed us that her husband, Dave, passed away 1 1/2 weeks ago in Michigan. He served as our Bayside school teacher and church elder for many years. Dear Hayward Church family, Just wanted to let you know that on Oct. 24th, Pastor Dave Schwartz went to sleep in Jesus. He had been suffering with severe dementia for the past several years. He passed quietly in his sleep and now he is resting in Jesus. He now awaits the coming of our Lord to wake him from his sleep. This has been very hard for me, but at least he is not suffering anymore and is finally at peace. I am not having a funeral or memorial service at this time, but probably sometime in May or June the family will get together and do something to remember Dave. Since Dave was always interested in Adventist education, I want to set up some type of memorial for him at Gobles Jr. Academy, which is at the church I attend. If anyone wants to help with this project they can make out checks to Gobles Jr. Academy, in Memory of Dave Schwartz, and send them to my address.
