L: We come to this place, as did generations before us, depending upon the Holy Spirit to lead and empower us, upheld by the eternal promises of our God. P: Come, let us worship, as we pray, look, and work for the triumph of righteousness. *Opening Hymn Community of Christ No. 502 Unison Prayer of Confession and Lord s Prayer Holy God, as your faithful people, we respond to the call to serve you in our world. As the living and breathing church, we strive to purpose our whole lives for your will and to further your ways. When we fall short of this commitment, forgive us. When we turn away from your path, redirect us and encourage us in the ways of being your church
in the world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
