Chapter Newsletter for MAR 2010 Est. 1990 Vol. #3-2010 Directors Report Cabin fever is an idiomatic term for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person or group is isolated and/or shut in, in a small space, with nothing to do, for an extended period (as in a simple country vacation cottage during a long rain or snow). Symptoms include restlessness, irritability, forgetfulness, laughter, and excessive sleeping, distrust of anyone they are with, and an urge to go outside even in the (less miserable) rain, snow or dark there should be a picture of me beside this definition! Daylight Savings time is coming, which will make things somewhat better, and the roads have been dry for the past week, but it is zero and no matter what electric clothes Ronnie buys for me, they won t overcome that temperature. In preparation for the weather that is coming Steve will be showing the Group Riding video during the next meeting. Please plan on attending for a reminder so we are ready to go.
