EMILY REEVES WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS (Please pass registration pad after signing) CHORAL INTROIT CALL TO WORSHIP FROM PSALM 96 Leader: Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. All : Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. PRAYER OF ADORATION AND LORD S PRAYER HYMN OF PRAISE O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing (vs. 1,3-6) No. 164 READING OF GOD S WORD Esther 1: 10-22 PAGE 410 HYMN I Need Thee Every Hour ( vs. 1,2,4&5) No. 674

CONFESSION OF FAITH HEIDELBERG CATECHISM, Q 1 Leader: All: What is your only comfort in life and death? That I am not my own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil. He also preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, all things must work together for my salvation. Therefore, by his Holy Spirit he also assures me of eternal life and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for him. CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE DOXOLOGY, No. 731 Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below; praise him above, ye heav n-ly host: praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. A-men CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN FROM PSALM 130:1-7 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! O LORD, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O LORD, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the LORD more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

THE ASSURANCE OF GOD S PARDONING GRACE FROM PSALM 130:7-8 O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. HYMN Trust and Obey (vs. 1-3&5) No. 672 (Children leave for Children s Church) PASTORAL AND OFFERTORY PRAYER SERMON REV. We also want to acknowledge and give much thanks to Mary Lewis Govero for her years of tireless work on the Ladies Ministry Team (LMT). She is moving off the LMT and on to other important projects and we wish her God's richest blessings. Thank you, Mary Lewis!
