8 Boxwood Festival in Lunenburg Celebrating Maritime Canada's Music & dance traditions Now in its 23rd year, the Boxwood Festival will happen July 22nd to 28th, 2018 at venues all over Lunenburg. Boxwood brings together an amazing group of artists from across the spectrum of traditional folk (Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, French Canadian, Appalachian) and baroque music and dance for a week of hands-on learning, performances, sessions and dancing.
