BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES We like to include the birthdays and anniversaries of our members and their ladies in our newsletter. Our faithful Comptroller gave me a list with the birthdays of all the members. Therefore, I would ask that each Sir Knight send me your anniversary date and the date of your lady s birthday, if you have not done so already. (If you are new to the Assembly, you need to send me yours as well.) Then we would ask that the rest of you make a note of those birthdays and anniversaries and remember the recipients in special prayers on their special days. The power of prayer is awesome and this will be a holy endeavor for the Knights. It will not cost any of us any money, but the rewards will be great. You can mail the information to me, Charlene Core, at 2083 Birchview Rd., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, or e-mail it to core.home@juno.com. The deadline is actually January 30 th but we need more recipes so I am extending the deadline until February 6 th. So Ladies, if you please send them in to me right away!!! Here is the letter explaining the cookbook! Dear Ladies of Sir Knights of the Fourth Degree: We are putting together a Cookbook of recipes from Ladies of the Fourth Degree. This venture is going to be a fund raiser to help with the Ladies Brunch at the Spring 2008 exempt and the costs associated with that event. So Ladies, please start collecting your favorite recipes. We need the recipes by January 30, 2008. Those of you coming to the January 17, 2008 meeting can bring them with you. 1. Recipes should be typed, if they can't be please make sure to print clearly. 2. Mail to Teresa Iannaggi, 2115 Baldwin Road, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 or E-mail recipes to: teresa_iannaggi@yahoo.com (there is an underscore between teresa & iannaggi) 3. Please include your name and assembly number. (The reason for the assembly number is that this cookbook will be a collection of Ladies'recipes from the assemblies that are in District 3 and if all goes well with the fund raising these might be a gift for the wives/significant others of new Sir Knights at the Spring 2008 Exemplification. That way these women would be able to find recipes from Ladies of the assembly of which their new Sir Knight is now a member.) At this time we are not certain of the price because we need to see how many recipes will be submitted. Any questions may be sent to the above addresses or call Teresa at 614-864-0797. Submitted by Lady Teresa Iannaggi
