Childcare for children under five years old is provided in Lower Calvin from 8:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Children are also welcome to join their families during worship. Activity packets are available in the Gathering Place. Nativity take-down is January 13th, immediately following worship. Adults and youth will participate together. Trucks will be helpful in returning the art pieces to garage storage onsite. The process should take 30 minutes with helpers. JANUARY 13th INCOMING ELDERS AND DEACONS WILL BE ORDAINED AND INSTALLED. The Board of Deacons meets at 12:15 p.m. and the Session meets at 6:00 p.m. Those who are serving as Deacon Board and Ministry Team Moderators, please remember: that important training takes place at 5:00 p.m. (right before Session). STARTING OVER, our new sermon series, begins today. At the start of each new year, many of us take time to review how we ve been living and resolve to make personal changes. This year, over seven Sundays, we ll reassess our personal lives, habits, disciplines, and direction with the intention of living in 2

Christ, achieving our personal goals (by the grace of God), and ending well (to the glory of God). These biblically-based messages will speak to all ages. January 13 Whose Am I? The Gathering Place is Working! It s wonderful to see members and friends getting a cup of tea or coffee between services and lingering for a long time after late service. We need your help in January! This hospitality takes two friendly people during each service. Barbara Gust is serving as the Sunday Coffee Coordinator. She needs one volunteer with her each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and another at 10:30 a.m. Please sign up to help (no prior experience needed). March 16-23 We are planning to travel with a team of up to 20 individuals on a spring mission trip to Trinidad de Copan. We will be working on a small housing project where we hope to construct nine homes. Construction and Spanish skills are appreciated but not required. Leigh Woodruff will be leading this trip.
