Name of Allah- Al Musa ir Surah Aal-e-Imran Ayah 29-30 The theme is Surah Imran is firmness in the religion. This means we have so many possibilities to slip in the life through decree, situations, possibilities and rules. We should not separate religion from our life. We need to understand decree comes through people s action. Don t think anything in this life comes is random. There is wisdom in every decree of.(جل جلاله) Allah (جل جلاله) Allah is the Owner of the dominion and He nurtures us through different means. We cannot be happy by changing our situation but infact happiness is by knowing Allah. In the Ayah 29-30 of Surah Aal-e-Imran, (جل جلاله) Allah is telling the (ﷺ) Prophet to say that.(جل جلاله) Allah is the owner of all the dominion. Everything in the world belongs to (جل جلاله) Allah Everything is Allah(جل جلاله) s property and He is the one controlling everything. All the actions of (جل جلاله) Allah are good. (جل جلاله) Allah is the owner of every decree. (جل جلاله) Allah gives dominion to whomever He wishes. We should not interfere and think that a person is not worthy. (جل جلاله) Allah also takes the dominion from whomever He wants. This is a test for us. (جل جلاله) Allah gives honour to whomever he wills and He will humiliate whomever He wills. Then (جل جلاله) Allah tells us in his hands is all the goodness whether he takes or gives dominion or He honours or humiliates. (جل جلاله) Allah is the One able to put the decree together. (جل جلاله) Allah is the one brings night to the day and the day to the night. No one has a problem in how (جل جلاله) Allah brings day and night. Similarly our life has a day (rise) and night (fall). The most beautiful time of the day is the sunset and sunrise. Allah brings out life from the dead ( e.g. from a dead egg comes live chick) and Allah is the One to bring death comes to someone alive When we know the name of Allah Ar Razzaq we will know that He will provide us. We need to not believe our eyes because the people are just a means. We need to know who is Allah as this is the only source of real happiness in the world. (ﷺ) Prophet Hadith of the إ ن الله تعالى ھو : الخال ق القاب ض الباس ط الراز ق ال م س عر وإ ن ي لا ر جو أن ألق ى الله و لا ی ط ل ب ني أحد بمظل م ة ظلمت ھا إی اه في دم ولا مال "Prices rose during the time of the Messenger of Allah,(ﷺ) and they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, prices have risen, so fix the prices for us.' He said: 'Indeed Allah is Al Khaaliq, Al Musa'ir (The One Who sets prices), the Qabid, (Restrainer) the Basit, the Razzaq (Provider). And I am hopeful that I meet my Lord and none of you are seeking (recompense from) me for an injustice involving blood or wealth." Sahih Aj Jami e 1846, Authenticated by Al Albani as Sahih During the time of the Prophet (ﷺ) the business merchants increased the prices so the companions came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and complained that the prices have increased and you tell them to reduce the price. The companions have him to set a price for the commodities. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied that Allah is Al Musa ir, Al Qaabit. Al Basit Ar Raziq Some of the scholars said that Al Musa ir is not a name but an attribute of Allah. Meaning of Al Musa ir Linguistic Meaning 1. Raised, Increased 2. Price, value 3. Meaning in Deen 1. Puts Value: Allah (جل جلاله) puts the price and value of the things. When we find varying prices it is a test for us from (جل جلاله) Allah to check our faith. Allah is Awwal and Akhir. The First one to put the price is Allah (جل جلاله) and the last one to put the price is.(جل جلاله) Allah (جل جلاله) Allah is the one to increase or decrease the price. 2. Puts Effect (جل جلاله) Allah is the one to put effect to the things. One thing may have too much value for someone and another thing might have no impact. 3. Gives it Position (جل جلاله) Allah gives position to the things. Jewelry is very important for women but it has no importance for men. Similarly, men are perhaps more interested for sports etc. 4. Torment (جل جلاله) Allah emblazes the fire Allah Al Musa ir increases and decreases the value of matters. Right now, we don t know what the price will be in future, but Allah (جل جلاله) has decreed all the prices in the Preserved Tablet. The one who s taking more money might need to provide more; we don t know the full picture. Rents go up and down, salaries go up and down and all of it is according to the will of Allah (جل جلاله) and we need to believe all goodness is in the Hands of Allah (جل جلاله) and He s Ar Razzaq. We need to think good of Allah.(جل جلاله) He encompasses and looks at everything. Furthermore, we cannot justify our wrong actions by using the names of Allah.(جل جلاله) For example if someone is delaying himself, he can t say Allah is Al Muakhir. What are the reasons for prices increasing? 1. Increased demand 2. Rare item 3. Test for the people so they return back to Allah :(جل جلاله) a person needs to go back and look at himself. He should seek forgiveness and repent to Allah (جل جلاله) because provision will increase. It s ingratitude and wronging ourselves which can increase the prices. PAGE 3
Impacts of Knowing Allah Al Musa ir: (جل جلاله) 1. Submit to Allah 2. Seek forgiveness and repent 3. Be grateful 4.
