Diocese of Palm Beach Additions to May 2017 Bulletin Announcements The monthly announcements and related-fliers can be downloaded to your PC via the diocesan website at www.diocesepb.org/bulletins Annual Graduation Mass for High School Seniors: more details on the Mass are included in these additions. Annual Memorial Day Mass at the Cemetery: Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery will celebrate this Mass on Memorial Day with Bishop Barbarito as the Main Celebrant. A light reception will follow. Please promote and share with staff & congregation as all clergy, parishioners, and families of the diocese invited. This Mass is offered for all of those who have died in service to our country and for all of those who have served in the military. Special Collection Letter: The Special Collection letter for May is for Catholic Communications and Catholic University. It is expected to be posted soon. (The letter is to be read or printed in your bulletins the weekend of May 6 th & 7 th with the collection taking place the weekend of May 13 th & 14 th ) DSA Materials: Similar to past years a few announcements can be found in these monthly announcements but all DSA materials are on our DMR website at www.dsa.diocesepb.org Once there click on the Development Tab. The Mass will be at 5:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens, with reception to follow. All high school seniors at the Mass will receive a certificate from Bishop Barbarito. Please pre-register for the Mass through your local youth minister, or contact the diocese at KSullivan@diocesepb.org or 561-775-9559 Annual Mass to Honor the Military to be Held on Memorial Day The diocesan cemetery, Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, will be celebrating its annual Memorial Day Mass on Monday, May 29, from 10 a.m. Noon. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Gerald M. Barbarito, will be the Main Celebrant. This Mass is offered for all of those who have died in service to our country and for all of those who have served in the military. A light reception will follow. The Mass will be held in the outdoor chapel. All clergy, parishioners, and families of the Diocese of Palm Beach are invited to attend this Mass. The cemetery is located exactly one mile west of State Road 7 (US-441) and is three miles west of the Florida Turnpike at 10941 Southern Blvd, in Royal Palm Beach. Wish List from Catholic Charities Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach has an Anti-Human Trafficking Program that assists domestic or foreign born victims in cases of labor trafficking and sex trafficking by providing a comprehensive array of services to meet the individualized needs of each victim, including case management, shelter and more. Since the program opened in January 2017, Catholic Charities has served more than 10 victims of Human Trafficking. Catholic Charities has a Wish List of needed items to meet the great needs of the program.
