He became a member of St. John s #115 in June 2001.
MESSAGE FROM THE EAST Brethren, It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Brother Chuck Simmermon, PM, and Brother Paul Cohen were called off from labor. We are halfway through the year and thus far, it has been quite a ride. It s very hard to believe how fast time flew by. What I ve seen in the past six months makes me a very proud Worshipful Master and paints a picture of a bright future for our beloved lodge. All of us, as a team, have played an important role in determining this direction of our lodge. I am proud to announce exciting news that will take place on July 4 th as part of the Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia. The Right Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania approved our lodge to participate in the parade. This will be a District A event and will be nationally televised. We will be entering a Masonic float. More details will be provided at our June Stated meeting. We are only six weeks away from this event, so time is of the essence. Brethren, in closing, I would like to end my message with this thought in mind. To be a Mason in truth, we must all act and live as such. Our character must be on the level. We must be honorable, charitable, and always upright in our dealings. We must visit the sick, comfort the sorrowing, and relieve the distressed. Foremost, we must be there for our Brothers who were called off from labor. Attending a Masonic funeral service is a token of respect and affection to the memory of our departed Brother. This act of compassion is part of our commitment to him and his family. There will be times you will not know him, but rest assured, he has traveled the same road as you have. Let us all try to be there for one another, to give our final goodbye as they would for us. I sincerely thank you for all your support and friendship throughout my year. I am honored to be a member of St. John s 115 and very proud to serve as your Worshipful Master. As the lodge goes dark July and August, I want to wish you all a safe and happy summer. I will see you all back in September. I am keeping my fingers crossed with high hopes to return back at Oriental Hall. Fraternally, Stephen Consello, Worshipful Master
