The Associate Pastor Call Committee and Congregation Council have unanimously voted to recommend that Trinity call Seminarian Elizabeth Frey as associate pastor. Seminarian Frey is preaching at all services this weekend, and the congregation will vote on her call after all services. Work on the parking lot will begin Monday, May 21. Please be alert for potential disruptions and new traffic patterns. The plantings and garden stones inside the orange painted areas are available to be taken prior to May 21. Help yourself. Geraniums for Pentecost. Decorations for May 20 will include potted red geraniums. Order geraniums for $7 (no bulletin listing); the buyer may take them home after late services. Look for the table in the Gathering Space May 12/13, or order and pay in the church office during the week. Contact people are Jane Killian or Kathy Powers. Strategic Plan Update. The plan for the new three-year cycle (2018-2020) builds on our previous plan to build relationships, make connections, and build foundations, all in concert with our mission to worship, connect, and serve. It also focuses on our current appeal, Honor Our Past, Plan Our Future and on projects that go beyond capital improvements: expanding small group ministries, strengthening our relationship with Trinity s preschool, approaching inactive members, enhancing community outreach, and missions. Read the plan on our website or ask at the church office. Familiarize yourself so that you can be a key branch growing on our faith-tree vine.
