Lots going on in your Council so if you have a moment, allow me to highlight some of the activity. Do you know what this Sunday is? If you said the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time, you'd be correct, HOWEVER, if you said BURRITO SUNDAY then you indeed are an all-knowing Knight. Stop by after Mass and help out for just a few minutes. Why not buy a bag of Burritos or sausage on a stick to go? Speaking about helping out, SK Mark LeMay is looking for Knights to join the 1st Degree team. It's fun and the Degree is usually over in an hour. Brandon Moore, the Council's Membership Director is busy gathering Form 100's. Use the two you got in your Columbia Magazine and bring in practical Catholic men who share your love of God and dedication to His work. Brandon could use a committee to assist him, so contact him at (brandonmoore72@gmail.com). Brother David Rollins asked if he could chair the Welfare Committee. His committee visits brother Knights in the hospital or at home convalescing. Please contact David (davecca@msn.com) if you know of a sick Brother (in the hospital or home) who would benefit from a visit. David is looking for a committee to help him. Our Worthy Chancellor, Frank Adinolfi,(frankweebs@yahoo.com) has a list of Safe Environment classes should you need to take that class. Stop by the Burrito tent on Sunday and say 'hello" to Frank,..it helps him be less introverted! I am still praying that Knights will volunteer for the Admissions, Retention, and Communication Director committees. "Admissions" vets the candidates that Brother Brandon processes. "Retention" works to retain Knights

Someone who enjoys technology and can organize our communications under UKNIGHT, which your Council subscribes to. SK Jim Jones, our hard working Financial Secretary and SK Bob Hennessey, who puts together this newsletter each week using Constant Contact would be willing to be committee members. Think about it, pray about it, and if you decide the Holy Spirit is asking you to do just a little more, let me know. Everyone's busy...even Jesus, keeping us all on the "straight and narrow". Why not visit Him on Tuesday evenings? Vespers start at 6:30pm. It is wonderful to be in Jesus' presence. He loves you more than you can imagine. There were seven Knights there last Tuesday. Can you attend this Tuesday? He'd love to see you!! May God bless you, your families, and our country. Message from Church Director Ed Leal Friday, July 10, 2015 The Healing of the Leper---Mark 1:40-45 What a wonderful and courageous story! The leper who approached Jesus in today's Gospel deeply believed that Jesus had the ability to heal him. Not only did the leper know his need, he also knew that Christ was the answer to his need. Jesus met the man's need with compassion and love. He touched the man and made him clean - not only physically but spiritually as well. No matter how distant we feel from God, He forgives us and wants to heal us completely. Do you seek the Lord with expectant faith?

Scripture verse - Mark 4:40, 41 "If you wish you can make me clean." "I do will it, be made clean." Squire's Corner If you have a male youth age 10 to 18 - please encourage them to become Knights. The first best step is to have them join the Columbian Squires. Please ask them to consider and see Brothers Dale Shipman, Kevin Bast, Miguel Chaidez or Ray Antio for questions or assistance. Upcoming Events: Planning for upcoming Waffle Breakfast T-shirts will be handed out at the next Business Meeting Squire recruiting "Lock-in" planning sessions under way - bring your ideas to the next business meeting All Squire musicians, please provide your input on what musical piece to play at the Retirement Center and provide to Hector.
