A Positive Path for Spiritual Living August 2018 Minister s Message "Sometimes you just have to do the right thing - no matter how you feel." You and I want the best that life has to offer; do we not? We want the winning lottery numbers to come to us in a dream, we want the best-looking thing around to notice and find us irresistible, and so on. We want access to all the good stuff and when we don't have it, when we don't get it, we wonder why God isn't answering our prayers. Here is the reason why we don't always get what we want; it is because we don't give the best of ourselves to life and others. We cut corners, we don't give, we don't show up, we look for loopholes to get out of doing what we could do and it is then that the universe reflects back to us who and what we are in the moment. It isn't that God or the Universe isn't answering our prayers - it is simply that you and I are a reflection of who we are and our current consciousness. Stop blaming God and let's begin to own up to our behaviors. Let us review the principles yet again: We can't get or receive if we aren't giving! Look for the loophole all you want - it is a Universal law. If we don't treat others well - we won't be treated well by others; see how basic these principles are? If we don't forgive - we won't be forgiven. If we don't honor our agreements - agreements made with us won't be honored either. If we harbor anger and resentment - it is our job to clean it up. Whining and complaining won't shift the situation until we shift. Sometimes no matter how upset or hurt we may be we are called to do the right thing. Lick our wounds for awhile if we must - but at some point we are called as spiritual beings to attempt a healing. As we give - as we attempt - so shall we receive. Wherever we are currently - we must do the right thing. A friend of mine used to say "get over your silly self!" I hear that often in my mind and smile. Do the right thing! It is always worth it. Have an awesome August! Namaskar' Rev. Jamie

Financial Support of our Ministry: This ministry is affirming that GOD IS OUR SOURCE! We are affirming that each of us understands that AS WE GIVE, SO SHALL WE RECEIVE. Unity of Pensacola serves a greater good in the lives of those who attend this spiritual community. We empower those who are seeking Truth, we enlighten those who come to find peace and renewal and we are honored to do what we do. We are asking, knowing, and affirming that you be willing to step up and give above and beyond your regular giving. We are able to do what we do because of your support and yet when Summer comes many travel, are boating, and going to the beach and do not continue their support of this organization. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY even when you can not be in attendance each week. Just like you, we have financial obligations that must be met such as utilities, insurance, payroll, coffee, supplies and the list goes on. We ask that you be in affirmative prayer with us - knowing the Truth that God is indeed our Source and that our good comes from seen and unseen sources. You and I are the seen and the unseen and God uses us to let Source flow freely. Master Prosperity Teacher Edwene Gaines reminds us often that it is an honor and a privilege to give where we have received spiritual food. Please be willing today to give above and beyond your regular giving and when you are not here - please either use our Smartphone app to give or give via our web site at www.unitypns.org We give thanks that God has heard us and you and we hereby give thanks in advance for our abundance as well as yours. Blessings, Rev. Jamie Unity of Pensacola 2
