The Ridgerunner The power of the mind - Mela Rispoli Last night we heard an interesting talk on the power of belief and willingness to keep an open mind. Mela works with people to overcome problems or obstacles in their lives. The ability to tie the present day situation together with some past experiences often produces some dramatic results and she cited a number of examples. It was also nice for us to meet Jay & Mela s oldest son Jason and his fiancée Tatiana Unger. Rotary is a family affair! Rotary Minute Chris Nolan Chris discussed one of her favorite experiences of being a Rotarian - the annual visits from GSE (Group Study Exchange) teams. Chris hosted a member from Estonia and I think she planned a vacation to visit her guest. We also helped to build a skate park in Estonia. Sue Manning made friends with a team member from South Africa. Someone from our Club was invited to the wedding of a team member from Taiwan. Yes, Chris, GSE was one of the better things that our Club and District has ever done! What Paul Harris Said: "May Rotarians continue to be ambassadors of good-will to high and low, rich and poor, to all races, to the devotees of all religious faiths and to members of all political parties, purveyors of tolerance, forbearance, justice, kindliness, neighborliness and friendliness to the inhabitants of this snug little world, the best little world of which we know." Paul P. Harris, "This Rotarian Age" page 257, 1935.

Good Food - Good Music CHIRP Concert in the Park sponsored by Rotary. Everyone understood who sponsored the event. Thanks, Rich, for bringing the materials and Mike S. for taking it down. Early arrivals Rotarians and spouses Doing what we do best socializing! Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson from Baskery.
