Mercy Mall Monday, January 14th And all Monday evenings thereafter 7-8:30PM 7519 Whitepine Road (5 minutes from church, near the Chesterfield Airport) Contact: Stephanie Griffith - 677-3198 (Text is best or leave message if I don't answer!) Mercy Mall is a free boutique where families and individuals can shop for clothing, shoes, housewares and baby items. They also give away a few food and toiletry items to each family during their appointment. They are not a monthly or regular "thrift store" experience, but rather a place for those in crisis situations to get their immediate needs met. They are an ever-changing 501c3 ministry that has taken on the form of a FREE clothing and housewares boutique with gently-used items. Trinity will begin having a group volunteering at the Mercy Mall on all Monday evenings, from 7-8:30. The building will otherwise be closed Monday evenings, and only our group will be there. They recently had to shut down on Monday nights due to too many donations, and not enough volunteers. It would be awesome to see Trinity help them get all caught up and reopen on Monday nights to the public. However, because they do not want to confuse the people who normally have made donations on Monday evenings and cannot now, we are asked to park behind the green gates in the parking lot, which is also shared with a local business. If possible, please carpool. We want lots of hands, but not lots of cars! Our group will be working through donations that have been dropped off and sorting them in one room, and another room we will have a group taking those clothes and putting them on hangers and putting them on a sorted rack. Not hard work at all, and the fellowship time together will be fun! It you would like to join us, please sign up on the clipboard on Sundays or contact Stephanie Griffith. This will be every Monday! So if you can't come this week, join us next week!
