The husband is responsible to save the body (the marriage. Husbands love your wives: give yourself up for them. Husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. Husbands must love and cherish their wives. man shall leave his father and mother and be joined with his wife. The two shall be one flesh. He shall love his wife as himself. Col. 3:18 Husbands, love your wives. Do not be embittered against them. Peter 3:1-6 Live with your wives in an understanding way.
