On behalf of all officers elected to positions of trust, I thank you for this honor. I hope to be worthy of the title, Faithful Navigator. However, this is not about me. It is about the Assembly and our brotherhood. I have a few ideas, but it will be up to the membership as to what we accomplish in the next fraternal year. The Color commanders regalia has been ordered for Sir Knight and Captain Larry Zoller. Everyone with regalia is urged to become part of the Color Corps. Remember, this is the visible part of the Knights of Columbus. Past Navigator, John Thabet, was presented with our official charter at the installation of officers. It is beign framed and should be ready for display at our next meeting. Captain s Corner Sir Knights, As you probably have figured out, our Faithful Navigator has hit the ground running. In addition to my position as Faithful Captain our Faithful Navigator has appointed me the Color Corps commander for this year. I have ordered the appropriate regalia and, like my leader, am hitting the ground running. I am requesting that anyone with regalia contact me if you are interested in being a member of the color guard. For this we will need 2 on flags and 2 on swords. It would be to our advantage if we can have a pool of Sir Knights with regalia that we can draw from so there is always someone ready to go if a color guard is needed. For the rest of us, remember that turnouts are for anyone with tux or regalia. Hopefully, at some of the meetings we will talk about the new manual changes and proper procedure at turnouts to eliminate any confusion on the day of the turnout. The 4th Degree is the most visible component of the order. Please support our turnouts and help make this year a successful one.
