We are glad that you are here and invite you to join us again next week at our 11:00 a.m. worship service. We have an amazing children s ministry, an outstanding youth ministry, an exceptional worship team, relevant preaching, and great people. Come check us out! Inside this newsletter you will find all sorts of information that will let you know a little bit about our church and what s going on. We invite you to come and be a part. PFWC is not a perfect church but we may be perfect for you!

12 Hour Prayer Events Baptism Sunday We have 3 more of these events left and we invite you to participate. We have scheduled them during strategic times where we need a lot of prayer. October 5th will take place prior to a new sermon series and our Praise in the Park outdoor service. November 6th is Election Day. December 7th is just be fore our Children s Christmas Program. Make sure to pick up the prayer guide because each month will be different. If you have not signed up, please do so at the Welcome Center! We believe in the necessity of Baptism. We do not believe that Baptism Saves us but we do believe that by being baptized we are following Jesus example, His command, and we are proclaiming to the world that we are a Christian. If you have not been baptized, it s a natural progression of your faith journey and we invite you to do so. We have a booklet to share with more details. Our goal is to have a huge celebration on Sunday, September 23rd. See Pastor Myron of Pastor Paul for more info! National Back To Church National Back to Church Sunday is the national movement of churches reaching out to their community. In 2018 we hope to see over 10,000 participating churches who are sharing the message You Belong Here with every home in their community because the need has never been greater. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 Love and Forgiveness In August of 2015 a tragic accident occurred that took the lives of JT s brother and his brother s wife. Two months after his brother died, J.T. walked into a courthouse. He wasn t there to testify or sit in the gallery. Instead, he was there to pay the fine of the man charged in the traffic accident that killed his family members. This is a powerful testimony on love and forgiveness. The You Belong Here message is designed to encourage the neverchurched nones and dechurched people in your community to come to church to find a community of people who are growing together spiritually, who are applying their faith to everyday challenges and who help and support one another as well as the community at large. TIME OF YOUR LIFE October Sermon Series What time is it? Where did all the time go? Does time really fly when you're having fun? Maybe we think about time so much because there never seems to be enough of it. Maybe there's only one question we need to ask. What am I doing with my time? Simple question? Easy answer? It's time you found out. In this 5-part series, Time of Your Life, we will help you discover that answer. Don't waste another second. Join us for this October Sermon Series!

Celebration and Appreciation Sunday Too often humanity likes to focus on the negatives rather than the positives when it s better to focus on all the positives! God is doing some exciting things at PFWC and we want to celebrate those things while at the same time show our appreciation for ALL of the volunteers in the church. This will be a great Sunday that you will want to bring others with you. We will be having a catered dinner following along with homemade pies, by Pastor Myron, for dessert. We will need an RSVP for this dinner in order to know how to plan.
