OCTOBER is WORLD MISSION MONTH Prayer for World Mission Sunday We pray to the Lord our pledge to preach with our youth the Gospel to everyone: You call us to preach your Good News to all nations, in every situation! Inspired by you, we come out from our churches and our houses to preach the Good News. Inspired by our youth, their dreams and their questions, we are keen about your Mission. Together, we will build a new Earth, which will be more just, more in solidarity, and more fraternal. We will build relationships marked by trust, Sharing, and openness to other people. We will not erect walls of division, but we will build bridges to connect your large human family! Amen At the very moment that He calls us, He is looking ahead to everything we can do, all the love we are capable of giving. Like the young Mary, you can allow your life to become a means for making the world a better place. Pope Francis Today, on World Mission Sunday, we are invited to celebrate our mission s vocation, to pray for the people who are actively engaged in mission, and to generously contribute to our worldwide mission solidarity fund through this collection. Your gift on this day helps: People in remote villages, towns and cities, through the witness and work of missionaries and local priests; Children, the elderly, refugees, the sick, and orphans through the services of religious Sisters and Brothers; To bring the Gospel to the poorest of our human family; Catechists proclaim the message of hope and peace that only Christ can give. Please offer your prayers for the work of the Church in the missions today and be as generous as you can on World Mission Sunday
