FROM BONDAGE TO FREEDOM. Part 3 Exodus 3:7-10 NKJV And the Lord said: I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. 8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, 9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. Galatians 1:3-5 NKJV Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and forever. Amen. So God has done His part, He has done everything you will ever need in order to escape this world of corruption and live victoriously in it. Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree ), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. So you have been redeemed by Jesus from the curse and the effects of the curse that out there in the world. You have been delivered from this present evil age. You are the redeemed of the Lord. Psalm 107:1-2 NKJV Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy. So you and I are no longer subject to the times that we are living in. The times are subject to us. We are subject to the Word. We are subject to the blessing of Abraham.
Ecclesiastes 10:7 NKJV I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants. That's a wrong picture of us the church, the redeemed. That is not going to happen anymore. Listen. When you and I hear bad news, don t automatically think and receive it as if that bad news is for you, because it was not meant for you, the redeemed of the Lord. It is for those out there who are still under the Lordship and hand of the enemy. Psalm 112 NLT Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands. 2 Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. 3 They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever. 4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. 5 Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. 6 Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. So when bad news comes, do not fear. The first words out of your mouth whenever bad news comes is, Lord, I will not fear. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. 9 They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. 10 The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted. God set His people apart and made a difference between His people and the people who were in Egypt (a type of the world). And God is still doing that today, setting the godly apart from the world, the curse and the effects of that curse that is in the world. Fourth plague Flies There were no flies in the land of Goshen where God s people lived.
Exodus 8:22-23 NKJV And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the land. I will make a difference between My people and your people. Make a difference means, I will set up a wall of redemption. A wall that separates My people from the curse and its effects. Fifth Plague Livestock died in Egypt Exodus 9:4; 6-7 NKJV 4 And the Lord will make a difference between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt. So nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel. 6 So the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died. 7 Then Pharaoh sent, and indeed, not even one of the livestock of the Israelites was dead Seventh Plague Hail Exodus 9:25-26 NKJV And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail struck every herb of the field and broke every tree of the field. 26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail. Ninth Plague Darkness Exodus 10:22-23 NKJV So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Don't expect to suffer under the same woes and problems like the people in the world. You are different. God said He will make a difference. Tenth Plague Death of the firstborn Exodus 12:13 NKJV Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the
blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:22 NKJV And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house. Even though you apply the blood of Jesus to your life, it s important to stay in the house and be obedient. How is your level of submission? High; Medium; Low; Critically low There is protection in submission There is provision in submission There is peace in submission Your time of favour has come. And when God brings you out, you will not come out empty handed. Exodus 12:35-36 NLT And the people of Israel did as Moses had instructed; they asked the Egyptians for clothing and articles of silver and gold. 36 The Lord caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth! Get ready, The Lord is going to give you favor in the sight of the people out there in the world and He is going to cause them to look favorably on you and grant you what you are requesting and asking for. Get ready; God is going to give you back double for all your trouble. God is going to cause the enemy to pay you back for all the damages that he caused in your life and family and business. Psalm 102:13 NKJV You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come.
Romans 13:11 NKJV And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time, to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. This is not the time to stop believing. Not the time to quit and give up and faint and lose heart. It is high time. Keep believing. Keep standing. Your breakthrough is now. Your deliverance and help is here now. Your time of favour is now. You coming out with silver and gold and clothes and abundance. You are going to ride on a horse like a prince and you will have your servants working for you.
