Engaging In Spiritual Warfare Study Questions: I. The Enemy is real. The devil is come: (John 10:10). 1. To = to take away what rightfully belongs to the Believer through Jesus Christ. 2. To = to take away life. 3. To = to undo what God has done or desires to do in the life of the Believer. Therefore we are to put on the whole of God to stand against the devil. (Ephesians 6:11). II. Some of the enemy's names according to Scripture are: A. of the brethren. (Revelation 12:10). B. = (the one against Christ) (I John 4:3). C. = (false accuser, devil, slanderer). (Matthew 4:1). D. God (god) of this. (II Corinthians 4:4). E. Prince of the of the air. (Ephesians 2:2). F. = (Hebrew = adversary, Greek = accuser). (I Chronicles 21:1). III. How does the enemy enter into our lives? A. The enemy may come into one's life and set up a stronghold through INVITATION. This means that we actually him into our lives to set up a stronghold. This occurs when we seek power or other than through God. (I Samuel 15:23). B. A common method of the enemy is through.

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own, and enticed" (James 1:14). C. One of the most unrecognized methods of the enemy is through INTRUSION. He invades our minds through our, visions, or dreams. (I Samuel 18:10) D. Another method which the enemy may use is our unbridled IMAGINATION. There are some places to which that we should not allow our mind wonder. (Romans 1:21). Therefore we are to cast down imagination and bring every captive.. (II Corinthians 10:5). E. The enemy often enters the soul of the individual through an MIND. Our house may be swept and, but it is dangerous if it remains empty. (Matthew 12:43-45). F. The enemy may also lure us into his trap through INFATUATION. We must remember that the deceiver can do.(mark 13:22). (Revelation 13:13-14). Infatuation, often leads to an which also is a type of bondage in and of itself. G. Quite often, we people unknowingly open the door to the enemy through. When we fail to forgive we don't receive forgiveness. (Matthew 6:14-15). This also opens the door to the (evil spirits). (Matthew 18:35). This gives the enemy "legal " to enter and remain there. G.. Many people allow the enemy come in through FEAR,, or ANXIETY. Which Biblical character said that he was saying that he did what was right, but knew it wouldn't do any good anyway?. In contrast, Peter states that we are to cast all our upon God. (I Peter 5:7-8). H.. Some people allow the enemy to come in through. This is doing things your own way in spite of repeated warnings. Who got sick and died because

of his stubbornness?. (II Chronicles 16:12-13). A Bible term for stubbornness is " ". (II Chronicles 30:8). I. The enemy may enter through our focusing upon THOUGHTS. Ten of the twelve spies that searched out the promised land came back with an report because they looked at the negative. (Numbers 13:32-33). We are to think on what? The things that are: true,, just,, lovely, of a report, of virtue, and of praise. (Philippians 4:8). J. The enemy often enters through the door of our ANGER. According to Genesis 4:3-7, the enemy is like a wild animal at the door ready to spring through the opening. We are permitted to be angry one day, but not (Ephesians 4:6-27); otherwise, we give ground to the devil. K. The enemy may enter through GENERATIONAL. God said that the curses would be pasted down until the generation. However, Jesus came to set us free from generational curses by dying on the. (Galatians 3:13-14). L. The enemy may enter through CURSES. When we place negative judgments over others, we are subject to God's ourselves. (Matthew 7:1-2). Second, word curses occur through the negative comments about us by those in over us, but this also includes the negative comments speak about ourselves. (Matthew 12:36-37). However, Jesus came to set the captives free and heal the hearted. (Luke 4:18-19). http://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/doctrine/jesus_our_substitute.html IV. What is our armor?
