Father s Day Photos Photos may be picked up today in the Gathering room. Troy Lunch Club We Still Need Helpers! The Troy Lunch Club serves lunch to children at various locations throughout the summer. We need help preparing the food on Mon, July 15 & Fri, July 19, from 9:30-11:15am at the Troy High School cafeteria. Also needed are three volunteers each day to help serve the meals and assist with the day s program at Garden Manor from 11:15am-1:00pm. Only one person has signed up to help serve so far. Please sign up today! You may call the church office, 335-2826, or sign up in the Gathering room or First Place. For more information call Carol Pinkerton, 335-4501. Troy Lunch Club Need Troy Lunch Club has kicked off, and with the addition of Lincoln Center, there are now 4 sites serving lunch every day. As the organization prepared for this year's program, an unexpected expense came up that is not covered in the budget. In order to avoid issues with the state, we had to purchase hot and cold containers/packs for food transfer from the high school to the 4 sites. The total expense was close to $900. We are hoping to cover the budgetary gap with donations from individuals, so if you are interested in helping to cover this expense, you can send a check to "Troy Lunch Club" at PO Box 981, Troy, or you can put a check in the offering plate (payable to Troy Lunch Club or Troy FUMC with Troy Lunch Club support in the memo). Food Pantry Volunteers Needed Several of our faithful Food Pantry Volunteers are experiencing health issues and are not able to help anymore. We need new volunteers. If you are are willing and able please contact the church office, 335-2826. Usher Captain Needed An usher captain is needed for the 10:45am Traditional service in December. No experience is necessary; we ll train you. Please contact Steve Johnson at 339-9512 if you are willing to serve or have questions. Pastoral Care If you are going to be in the hospital and would like a pastor to visit, please email: staff@troyfumc.org or call 335-2826.

Let's Go! Those going to the Reds ballgame on July 1, we will leave the church PROMPTLY at 3:30pm. We are still taking deposits for Pigeon Forge/Smoky Mountains (Sept 16-19). Please pick up a brochure in the Gathering room for Shades of Ireland, a proposed trip for March 25-April 3, 2014. Let us know if you are interested in going. Bob & Ann Baird, 335-4338 Greeters Needed Greeters are needed for the traditional worship services in Aug. Please sign up on the clipboard located in the Gathering room for one or two Sundays.
