Broad Mountain Avenue SACRAMENTS Sacrament of Baptism- The sacrament of Baptism is ordinarily celebrated immediately following the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Please call the Parish Office at least two months in advance in order to make arrangements. Parents must be registered in the parish and active for at least three months prior to the Baptism. Sponsors must be canonically eligible. Certificates of Eligibility sponsorship at Baptism or Confirmation requires that a person be an active, registered member of the parish three months prior to receiving the certificate of eligibility. Please contact the Parish Office for more information. Sacrament of Marriage- Please call the Parish Office at least 6 months before the proposed marriage dates in order to arrange for the necessary preparation. An appointment is necessary before a wedding date may be scheduled. Parish and Diocesan premarital classes are required. Only parish guidelines will be followed in planning the marriage ceremony. Valley Golf Course. The event is a 4-man scramble. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m. and Shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Cost is $80 per golfer & includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner & beverages. If you are not a golfer, please join us for dinner (6:00 p.m.) $15/person. The Marian QBC is also seeking business sponsors for this event. Children s Liturgy of the Word is available every Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass All parish children ages 4 second grade are welcome to attend. STATIONS OF THE CROSS CCD The students of the CCD program invite parishioners to join them for Stations of the Cross. Stations of the Cross are scheduled for Sunday, March 26 at 7:00 PM. Children will lead us in the prayers and will be portraying some of the key figures in the Passion Story as we pray. Stations are being held at the Annunciation BVM Church. Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church will host Born For This, a musical presentation of the Passion of Jesus on Sunday, April 2 in the St. Joseph the Worker Church Hall at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 each. Youth under the age of 16 are free when accompanied by an adult, if not accompanied by an adult cost is $5.00. Everyone 16 and over the cost is $10.00 Born For This is a prayerful way to prepare for Holy Week and Easter and is perfect for families. Youth groups are welcome and encouraged to attend. JOSEPH THE WORKER FEAST DAY CELEBRATION On Monday, May 1, we will come together for Mass at Annunciation BVM Church and then move to the Hall for a large parish pot-luck dinner. The Parish will provide the main course and we will all be invited to bring some type of side dish or dessert. There is no cost for the dinner and every parishioner is welcome. We will be posting a sign-up sheet in the church come early April. Please put this on your calendar and more information will be forthcoming. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL MAKER FUN FACTORY..CREATED BY GOD BUILT FOR A PURPOSE 2017 Vacation Bible School pre-registration is underway. Sign up sheets are in the vestibule of the church. The sign up sheets are for all participants pre school children and elementary children who want to participate as well as middle school/high school age students who want to be crew leaders. Registration is open until April 30. Vacation Bible School will take place June 12 through June 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m./8:15 p.m.
