New sermon series starts May 24 Ekklesia is a Greek New Testament word that means, A gathering of citizens called out from their homes to some public place, an assembly. In English the word is church. We re going to study the nuances of what it means to be Christ s calledout assembly by looking at the activities of the apostle Paul and his companions during the go-go days of the early church. Today we recognize our high school seniors from: Bishop Kelley, Broken Arrow, Cascia Hall, Coweta, Edison, Epic Charter, Jenks, Metro Christian, Mingo Valley Christian and Union. Pastor Tom developed the journal several years ago to offer a structured daily reading plan because he wants everyone to learn how to feed themselves spiritually. Volunteer in Children s Ministry! Recruiting for 2015/16 school year. (Our teens will take the summer.) At the earliest ages, we teach our children to share. Now, it s our turn. To share our time, wisdom and love with those who need it most our kids. We invite YOU to share with us in children s ministry by serving as a volunteer for ages 6 weeks to 6th grade from August 2015 to May 2016.
