SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 60: 1-4 Isaiah 60:1-4 New Life Version 60 Rise up and shine, for your light has come. The shining-greatness of the Lord has risen upon you. 2 For see, darkness will cover the earth. Much darkness will cover the people. But the Lord will rise upon you, and His shining-greatness will be seen upon you. 4 Lift up your eyes and look around you, and see! Eagle Scout is the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting. Since 1912 more than two million Boy Scouts have earned the Eagle Scout rank. In the words of the Eagle Scout Promise, Eagles do their best each day to make their training an example, their rank and their influence count strongly for better Scouting and for better citizenship in their troop, in their community, and in their contacts with other people. To this they pledge their sacred honor. On December 22, 2018 Adam Stewart, David Ickes, and Jackson Light were recognized as part of the Troop 70 Eagle Court of Honor. This was only the second time in the Church s history that three boys achieved this status in the same year. Congratulations to these fine young men, their families, troops, and leaders.
