ABUNDANT LIFE----WHAT AND HOW? I believe everyone would enjoy life without sickness and disease and an ability to live abundantly as Jesus promised. This was the purpose for Jesus visiting earth. An accurate translation of God s message and understanding Jewish idioms it reads as an instruction manual for living heaven on earth in this lifetime as He revealed in the Lord s Prayer. An inaccurate translation, or the King James Version, taking Jewish idioms as literal, it reads as an instruction manual how to live the best you can, don t make any mistakes and hope to avoid hell and go to heaven after dying. Jesus single most important message before the cross and the one he spoke for forty days after his resurrection: Try to find first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything you need for an abundant life happens. Matthew 6:33 paraphrased by changing seek to try to find. I have found the perfect will of God and His assignment for my life: 1. Help others to discover the perfect will of God or how to live in the kingdom of God where He dwells and where He supplies His sons or citizens of His kingdom with all their needs, including divine health. 2. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Things offered by the Lord in order for life to be abundant). 3. If you are thinking, This sounds like the assignment Jesus had you are correct and as a son of God I have been given the same works that Jesus had. Jesus has spoken in the word of God that this assignment is the personal Works of a disciple of Jesus. And if you are a disciple of Jesus items 1 and 2 are your Works or assignment. Jesus said, I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly. Paraphrased John 10:10b to personalize Jesus promise. After finding this it is now an assignment to introduce it to others. If you are living with sickness or disease and you have worldly problems of fear, worry, anxiety or stress listen to Jesus as he spoke the explanation, Satan, the thief has come to rob you of your citizenship in the kingdom of God. 1
The robber of your health has come, To steal (your ability to live in the kingdom of God), and to kill (by sickness and disease), and to destroy (with accidents). This is a personalized translation from John 10:10a as Jesus spoke Satan s reason to visit planet earth. After discovering this it is then an assignment to reveal it to others. But, please do not take this article condemningly for it is meant for only one purpose and that is as a cure for the problems that accompany living in the world system controlled and headed by Satan. And once you have discovered the abundant life share it with others. This is what serving the Lord is all about and allows the perfect love of God to flow from a son of God into others. This article is about seeking the goal that God has set before us and changing our perception from what has been to what can be. Changing your perception from whom you thought God was to whom He says He is will begin a spiritual journey that you will look back and say, How could I have believed those horrible things about God? You will suddenly see God as your Father and yourself as His son and not just another Saved Christian struggling to believe His word and attempting to live closer to what His word has said. As a Saved Christian I was always looking for something else I could do in order to have the blessings that are written in the word of God and tentatively were mine. Always attempting to do works to make God pleased with my efforts and me. It was discouraging to try so hard with so little results. These were some of my attempts as a Saved Christian to make God love me and bless me. 1. I would read the Bible more and get up early just to prove how hard I was trying to be a good Christian. 2. Every time a new speaker would come to town I believed I might receive a financial or physical blessing and I would go and listen intently. 3. I sent for tapes, CD s and anything new that had a promise for me to be a better and blessed Christian. 4. I followed one popular evangelists promise and bought his tapes for $100 in order to learn how to pray for an hour a day and get blessed. 5. I became partners with several TV evangelists believing their promises that I would share their blessings as one of their partners. 2
When this revelation, God is not whom I thought He is changed, I noticed my love for Him increased as well as my love for others. My personal health had positive changes and I am experiencing a new joy and peace that I had never known. And an important thing, I stopped following and subscribing to all the Christian Hype that is readily available and believing that someone else has a closer relationship and a new revelation about God that I could have if I gave them money. Why was I so wrong about my perception of God and the way I approached to be a Christian that pleased God? Here is the answer I found. After the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Satan discovered he had made a colossal mistake with his involvement having Jesus killed. I Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. Which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Immediately after he discovered his mistake Satan called a meeting with the Prince of Persia and other members of his spirit of darkness board or the world system and said, We have made a mistake, our enemy, God, has inflicted a sting tactic on us when we caused the death of His Son Jesus. Satan continued his meeting by presenting a list of events that happened at the cross and what efforts were needed to reverse the perception for the real purpose of Jesus death: 1. Jesus death and resurrection destroyed sin and death and if we fail to reverse this the power we have to inflict sickness, disease and accidents that causes death will be discovered and our works will be destroyed. (Let s slip in here a verse John spoke in I John 3:8b, Jesus was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.) 2. Satan was horrified because Jesus resurrection abolished death and returned immortality. II Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 3. The most disastrous part of our (It was really Satan s) mistake is Jesus defeated me, Satan, your esteemed leader in the wilderness several years ago when he spoke the word of God to me. You all know that we have no defense against the word of God when spoken by God s first Son or any subsequent sons of God, it is always automatic. But don t be discouraged 3
my demon friends because our negative words when spoken by anyone have the same reproducing power and authority. 4. But here is the serious issue this one called Jesus has left a transferable system for everyone to be born again into sons of God just like he is the Son of God. We will be in deep trouble if Christians discover this. 5. Our opportunity to control the world with our system of darkness won t happen if there are thousands or millions sons of God like Jesus. 6. Pay attention board members I am going to present my thoughts and plan: a. I defeated Adam 4000 years ago when I deceived him to believe that his father, God, judges good and evil and he could be like God by swallowing this lie. b. You all know Adam swallowed the lie and consequently physical death was introduced to mankind. I was proud of that accomplishment and we are still causing death by sickness, disease and accidents. c. Our job now is to divert this new group called Christianity into believing that Jesus death and resurrection was for another purpose than the one designed by God. d. I will influence, a man called Jerome, he is a Latin scholar and one of the leaders in the Church of Rome. This church will first be deceived into believing that Peter is to be their leader. I really enjoyed that deception but it is easy when man s ego is involved. You know Jesus the Son of God was planned and designed to be the true foundation of the church and not Peter. What a joke that was and has really assisted our destructive cause more than any other mistake man has made. e. I will cause Jerome when he translates the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts into Latin to choose synonyms that concentrates on the sin of man and to deceive the future readers to believe Jesus death and resurrection was to keep them from going to hell. If the real purpose of Jesus death and resurrection were known it would destroy our ability to control the world. f. I won t scare, the hell out of them instead, I will scare, hell into them. g. You know my demon colleagues that hell is just another word for a grave that everyone eventually will go to because of our ability to kill. But thanks to our efforts the world will believe it is a location of fire for eternally punishing ones that God hates. 4
h. Jerome, under my influence, will not translate a single Jewish idiom into an understandable phrase and Jewish idioms really make hell appear as a location for eternal punishment. i. God prevented me elevating my throne above his but making mankind to believe God judges good and evil and then sends the majority of mankind or sinners to an everlasting place of torture will really make him look like the evil one and then his throne will appear to be below mine. j. I will create strife amongst the Church in Rome and it will create divisions so there will be thousands of different types of churches and each one will have it s own description of sin. Boy oh boy what a screwed up mess this will make when Christianity doesn t have an exact definition of sin. Some will say smoking or drinking. One will even say going to church on Sunday instead of Saturday. k. This is a winning plan and victory will be had by deceiving Christianity to believe Jesus death and resurrection was to provide an escape from hell. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Meeting is over. l. Sorry, Satan said, I missed another deception I planned that Christians will really fall into because it sounds so beneficial. m. Jesus has commanded that his disciples go into the entire world and teach the kingdom of God and then things he prophesied will happen. Instead we are going to deceive Christian missionaries to believe that they should go into the entire world and preach that if Jesus isn t accepted for forgiveness of sins hell will be their eternal location for burning in fire punishment. Nations will hate America for trying to make Christians out of their citizens. n. Motion made and seconded that this satanic meeting is finished. Demons are released to whisper into human ears the agenda spoken today by Satan and to believe what they will hear as their thoughts and without challenging them against the word of God. The traditions of men will cancel the real meaning of the word of God. Let s go back to the world of today, one of sickness and death that Satan has deceived Christianity into believing and accepting as normal to life. Medical science has done wonders for the ones needing help. And there is an abundance of sickness and disease to make illness appear as normal and Satan s deception overlooked. The construction of new hospitals and medical facilities is fully active. 5
The Aspirin has probably helped millions with pain relief but too much Aspirin will cause the stomach to turn acid and then the need to take anti-acid medicine. And an anti-acid medicine will rob a body of calcium that will create osteoporoses and perhaps the need for hip replacement. Drugs are addicting and difficult to stop dependence and tend to cause other infirmities that require more drugs. Many Christians compromise the word of God in order to justify their sickness and disease as just normal to life. Isaiah 33:24 And the inhabitants shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. Ps 103:1-6 Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (what God has provided). Who forgave all your iniquities (sins); who healed all your diseases (emotionally inflicted health problems). Who redeemed your life from destruction (death); who crowned you with loving kindness (merciful favor) and tender mercies (the love a mother has for a newborn). Who satisfies your mouth (life is full and plenteous) with good things; so that thy youth is renewed (rebuilt or restored) like the eagles. The LORD executed righteousness and judgment (rightful privilege) for all that are oppressed (defrauded from the good life). Jesus fulfilled the above-prophesied benefits spoken in Psalms: 1. Bless the Lord means to thank God and not to credit Satan s deception to God which is blasphemy. a. Satan deceived Adam to believe that the knowledge of good and evil and judging was God s nature. There is no truth in Satan. b. The belief, God judges and sends a sinner to hell is the traditional view held by Christians. c. Forgiveness is for healing, Jesus said many times Is it easier to say your sins are forgiven or be healed? d. Blasphemy is an unpardonable sin and simply means your disease or sickness will continue unless you repent or change your perception of sin. 2. Don t forget what God provided when He sacrificed His Son, Jesus. 6
a. God provided what Jesus said, I have come to give you an abundant life. 3. Your sins are forgiven and never were an issue with God. Jesus came to earth for a different purpose than you think because God is not who you think He is. 4. Diseases are different than sicknesses and are emotionally induced by fear, worry, stress, anger, un-forgiveness, and bitterness. Aging is a disease and healing does not have an end date. No disease---no aging. 5. Your life has been redeemed from destruction or death. a. II Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 6. God loves you as a mother loves her newborn baby and desires only the best for you. God is not who you have been led to believe and He never acts apart from love. 7. Your life will always be youthful and God wants you to have an abundant life. 8. If you have been defrauded or have had any of the prophesies stolen, God provided His Son Jesus with instructions how to be one of God s sons and enjoy the benefits or entitlements as a son of God and reverse the fraud. This promise and prophecy God made to David has been fulfilled by Jesus and if you are not in this incredible pattern for living ask, Why? Psalms 103:10-12 God has not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear (respect) him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. David s iniquities or sins had earthly consequences and did not affect the love God had for him. Jesus came as a cure for the type of sins David committed. God sent Jesus to earth to reverse the mistake Adam made and recreate heaven on earth in this lifetime. Adam s sin, or man s original sin, was acquiring the ability to judge by accepting the knowledge of good and evil. God s message if truthfully translated and Jewish idioms made understandable is about living the abundant life now that Jesus spoke in John 10:10b. 7
If you read and accept the literal translation of the King James Version and accept Jewish idioms as facts you will believe in hell and live in John 10:10a. Sicknesses and diseases are correctable when the causes are spiritually understood. Sicknesses and diseases may be correctable pharmaceuticals and/or surgery. medically by means of The original Greek words for Pharmaceutical or Drugs were substances that produced hallucinations as a cure for a sickness. The Pole with a brass serpent attached that Moses erected was a cure for health and escaping physical death. It also was a sign that Jesus came for humanity s health and to escape physical death. It has nothing, nada, for escaping hell and going to heaven after dying. Jesus came as a cure for the physical affects that sin causes. Numbers 21:7-9 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, we have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against you; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, make a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. This story is probably an allegory and is relating how the Israelites were complaining about God bringing them out of Egypt. Blaming God for thoughts coming from Satan is blasphemy. The Israelites asked Moses and God to forgive them for sinning by speaking this blasphemy and wanted a cure from the deadly serpents. Satan, represented by the brass serpent, was the deceiver or enchanter and can make vulnerable ones to believe a lie that can cause sickness and death. The serpent is the deceiver, Satan, and if anyone had been bitten or deceived by him then looking or a correct perception of Satan will cure the sickness. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt to set them free from bondage and to improve their living standards in this life and not for life after death. Satan is the great deceiver and he deceives by attempting to make God the evil one that sends sinners to an everlasting burning location called hell. 8
The Hebrew and Greek word hell means a grave and sin causes sickness that will send one to hell or to a grave. Death and hell are always connected. Jesus went to hell or the grave for three days. Acts 2:27 and 31 Because you will not leave my soul (breathing creature or body) in hell, neither will you allow your Holy One to see corruption. He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Satan led the church in Rome to incorrectly leave illogical Jewish idioms in the King James translation that vividly describe hell as a location for eternal punishment. Then the church sold indulgences to escape this imaginary hell. Jesus is a type of Moses but Jesus birth; death and resurrection added the prospect for others to be born again and to be sons of God or types of Moses and set captives free. Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Jesus or Moses mission was to make life better now, not after death. The Drug store s symbol for a pharmacy is two serpents wrapped around a pole with a Rx attached that is the mark of the Greek god of health. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of your tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 4:10,11 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of your life shall be many. I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. Pr 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Your choice is between Drugs or the Word of God. Both have results. Believing in hell and the word of God is like mixing water and oil that creates an emulsion that ruins the attributes of water and destroys the purpose of oil. Is there a correlation between Christians obstinately believing in hell and sickness and disease? 9
Which is true, Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly now in this lifetime and a cure for sin that causes sickness and disease? Or did Jesus come, That a few may accept his forgiveness of sin and escape hell and go to heaven after death? This is another article in a series that confronts the Christian s belief in hell as a burning location for eternal punishment. BELIEF IN HELL MAKES THE CHURCH WEAK AGAINST THE DEVIL. Your life will reflect God who has love for some and sends the ones He doesn t love to hell? God couldn t burn someone in hell if he loved him or her. Or your life will reflect God s perfect love and He cannot act apart from love. It is perfect love that casts out fear, stress, worry and all negative emotions that cause disease. If God s perfect love is missing by believing in hell there is no cure for fear, worry, stress or any negative emotion except pharmaceuticals that are only a band-aide treating the symptoms of not having God s perfect love. 1. Do you want heaven in earth and an abundant life free from sickness and disease now that lasts forever? 2. Or do you want to wait for heaven after dying? The choice is yours, 1 and 2 but not both? Both answers are winners. God sent His Son Jesus to earth for a much bigger cause that an escape from the mythical location that the church in Rome invented, called hell. God sent His Son Jesus to earth in order for God to have innumerable sons like Jesus who He could love and fellowship with just as an earthly father does with his son. The Prodigal Son allegory in Luke 15 pictures God, as an earthly father, receiving his disobedient and sinful son back home believing he was dead and honoring him with a celebration and a feast. The father wasn t interested in what his son had done and did not even mention forgiving him or listening to his son asking for forgiveness. This allegory is telling you today if you have strayed and sinned and left your Father s home, which is the kingdom of God, your Father in heaven never 10
stopped loving you and again reminds you that everything He has is yours for the asking. The older son was also wrong when he assumed his father loved him for all he was doing and had done. God s love is unconditional and He has never separated Himself from any of His children and that includes all humanity. According to Moses the spirits of all flesh are from God and according to Solomon the spirits of all flesh at death go to God who gave them. This is the reason all humanity are God s children and He loves them all and like an earthly father does His best to make life on earth rewarding as possible with training or teaching what consequences are for right and for wrong choices. Having life in or out of the kingdom of God is about your perception of God and you will emulate the God you have chosen to believe. Living in the kingdom of God there is divine health and freedom from sickness. Living in the world there is sickness but many medical discoveries to create health. Immortality is a dimension of time that is not understood as a resident on earth. Earth time is in a linear dimension and everlasting, eternal, forever and immortality are in a dimension that is impossible to comprehend. Unless you live in a dimension it is not possible to relate to it. Faith in God s word does not depend on human understanding therefore I have accepted and believe in Immortality because God said it. Immortality affords the opportunity to focus on life instead of death which I have found makes divine health accessible. I fully expect to be amazed when I discover what Immortality means.
