Over the next weeks we will highlight the 12 reasons from Church teachings for wan ng to spend one hour in Eucharis c Adora on. Reason #1: You are greatly needed. The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharis c Adora on. Pope John Paul II For more informa on, contact Ricardo and Teresita La O at (636) 391-1997. Living God s Word The stone the builders rejected has become the corner stone - MATTHEW 21:42 Jesus was the corner stone and He was rejected by the religious and poli cal leaders of his day, as well as ordinary ci zens. Living a stewardship lifestyle may cause you to be rejected by others in today s society. For example, saying grace before a meal in a restaurant may a ract some strange looks from some. But to others it is sign that God is alive and well! WEDDING BANNS Anna Lee and Anthony Austin The Friends of Priests Prayer Campaign for all Priests, Deacons, Seminarians, and Consecrated Religious will begin on Sunday, October 15, and end Friday, December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Concep on. All parishioners are invited to sign a pledge to pray ten Hail Marys each day from October 15 to December 8. The binder of pledge sheets is in the ves bule on the table outside the Chapel. The completed pledge sheets will be presented to the Archdiocese. Please pray for our Priests, Deacons, Seminarians, and Consecrated Religious who so generously serve our Archdiocese.

We entrust them to the merciful love of almighty God. We also pray for first responders, emergency services personnel as well as civilians who heroically put themselves in harm s way, in the face of danger and horror. We have a newly designed accessible bathroom in our ves bule/lobby. A wheel chair is available for use inside the church. One of our Greeters or Ushers will be happy to assist. It is stored in our Ushers Room. Gluten-free hosts are available at liturgies. To arrange, please see the presider before Mass. Listening devices are available for use during our liturgies. The final chance is coming soon. At Fa ma, Our Lady told us that war can be averted through her. She asked us to pray the rosary. This last opportunity will be Friday, October 13 th in the Holy Infant Eucharis c Adora on Chapel. A statue of Our Lady of Fa ma will be enthroned for venera on that day. For the plenary indulgence, pray before the statue to venerate Mary, pray for the Pope, and go to Communion that day. Also, go to confession within 3 weeks. Also that day, at 9AM, everyone is invited to our gym, where our school will par cipate in a Mission Rosary and a solemn prayer-procession with a large Fa ma Statue. We want to express special thanks to the St. Louis Chapter of The Alliance of the Two Hearts for arranging the procession with their beau ful statue. (To find out more about them, visit their website- h p://www.ath-stl.org/ ) Go to h p://www.ewtn.com/library/answers/primindu.htm to read more about indulgences.
