O C o n n o r We come together in prayer so that our lives reflect the faith we profess First Sunday of ADVENT Reflection Luke 21: 25~28 As the liturgical year begins, we hear of the need to be alert to the coming of the Lord. The Gospel depicts a time when people are so filled with terror that some die of fright. In our time, we may be fearful because of crime, natural disasters, or a family crises. We have the choice to act from these emotions or from the hope that God brings. We can be among those causing panic among family and friends or we can spread the hope that we have received from the Gospel. When our actions are inspired by the Gospel, we read the signs of the times as opportunities for Jesus to be born anew in our communities. Through us, Jesus can provide comfort and joy to those we meet. LTP Daily Prayer 2019 WATCH And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:27
