One with the communion of saints in all times and places, let us confess our sin against God and one another. (Silence for reflection and self-examination) O God, our merciful redeemer, We confess the ways we live only for ourselves. We fail to see you in our neighbor s face. We turn our ears from voices that cry out. We pass by the hungry and the oppressed. In your great mercy, forgive our sin and strengthen us for service to all in need; through Jesus hrist our ord. In the mercy of almighty God, Jesus hrist was given to die for you, and for hrist s sake, God forgives you all your sin. Blessed are you! Rejoice and be glad, beloved people of God.

O God, of the pilgrim s way, we give thanks for those, who in generations past have been examples for us of God s love at work in the world. We pray that we are surrounded by this great, rejoicing cloud of witnesses. Yet even as we name these holy ancestors, family, friends, and loved ones, we also thank God for others whose names we never knew or whose names have been forgotten, who showed us the meaning of life in hrist. (lease be seated) All Saints Video When prompted, the congregation is invited to speak aloud the names of those we carry in our memories and hearts. This becomes a spoken great cloud of witnesses with the names of those we remember from our congregation who have died since last All Saints Day. Holy God, we thank you for these saints, and all the saints who come to our mind, as we honor these ancestors in faith and members of our Godly Family. We lift up to you those newly baptized in faith, whom you have claimed as saints with the light of your loving grace. Encourage us through grief and sorrow, through the struggle and pain, and bring us with all your saints to the river of life. As we seek to do your will, guide us. As we desire to serve you, strengthen us. As we long to know you clearly, teach us. And in time, bring us to our eternal home of peace and joy.
