Central Alabama Emmaus Community the 4th day newsletter March 27, 2017 A MESSAGE FROM WALK #184 LAY DIRECTOR Good Morning Central Alabama Emmaus Walk Family! Just think, in just a few days we will be basking in the presence of the Holy Spirit at Camp Alamisco. I am exuding with great anticipation and excitement to be a part of Walk #184!!! It s like looking forward to Christmas morning, wondering what gifts of blessings we will receive and looking forward to witnessing the love of Jesus being born in the hearts of every person who will participate in the walk. As you know Christmas isn t just about receiving but giving as well. It makes me wonder who will I get to share the most wonderful gift of Agape Love that God has given me. All I can feel is Grace, Mercy and Thankfulness. I can t wait to see the transformation from the Wednesday night pilgrim to the Shekinah Glory Glow of the Saturday evening pilgrim. It is evident, as Jesus was our example, the power of prayer is the only reason so many lives have been transformed in a little resorted place called Emmaus at Camp Alamisco. As I have traveled from Alexander City to Auburn, back and forth to work, each one of you who have been and will be associated on Walk #184 has a landmark. When I see that landmark, I lift you up in prayer at least twice a day. My long trips have become too short as I have enjoyed riding with Jesus. Please rest assured you all have been lifted up in prayer. There is no doubt that our Lord is going to do some amazing things in many lives. Matthew 6:33 says, Seek Ye First the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. As I seek Him, my thoughts are, what is my number one reason to serve in Walk #184? In the next few days I m asking you to remember all the talks that you heard at other walks and team meetings. Please try to be the example we are presenting to the pilgrims: Setting our priority, accepting God s Grace and thank Him for all aspects of Grace, (Not only accepting but giving grace and mercy to others we come in contact with), being a priest to others we are around, building our relationship with Jesus by growing through study and being a disciple to others to grow in grace. Let s be the body of Christ lifting each other up daily in our prayers and showing acts of kindness, even if we don t feel like it. As we practice all the talks by the way we live, we will change our world and will persevere because these are our Fourth Days. Let s put on the Whole Armor of God, so the enemy has no place or stronghold on Walk #184. Let s not just seek His hand, but seek His face. DeColores!! A MESSAGE FROM WALK #184 SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR Greetings Central Al Emmaus Community It is with much anticipation and expectation that I am looking forward to CAEW #184. God has orchestrated this team and I pray that we seek to serve Him in everything that we say and do. Because of the prayers that have been lifted to the Lord for this specific group of pilgrims, I am looking ahead to the life changing experiences that they will encounter during this 72 hour walk together and their continued newness with Jesus on the fourth day.
