Nunez Some Good News! Recently I have, after sharing the concept with the Parish Pastoral Council, signed contracts with the following contractors: *JDL: to complete the side walks at the front entrance beside the Plaza of Prayer at St. John of God and connect with the sidewalks behind the Church. This completed project allows egress all the way around the Church exterior, and aids the people parking, then entering the Church near the sanctuary doorways. *Cam-den Glass of Villas: to create an artic entrance at the main entrance of St. John of God to eliminate cold air blowing in and heat escaping. All safety and ADA requirements are met. Projected completion February March 2016. *Heimer and Company, Clifton, NJ: to remove and save existing stained glass in Sanctuary; design and install Eucharistic windows beside the Tabernacle of St. John of God in the Sanctuary window space. This will compliment the lower level windows that depict Baptism and Confirmation. And, with these Eucharistic windows, the three sacraments that identify us as Catholics is complete. Projected completion is March- April. Design example is on display in the vestibule at St. John of God. All these are funded from extra-ordinary means, no Parish Collection money is to be used. If, however, there are interested members of the parish that want to subscribe to these in kind or in part, please contact Father Soprano. All gifts and memorials shall be welcomed. We remember our recently deceased: David J. Gairo Albert Pekula

Father Soprano Church Bingo Volunteer Recruitment Drive To ALL parishioners and friends of St. John Neumann Parish: The Parish volunteer staff of all the weekly bingos are in need of additional volunteers to serve in many positions at these games. There are bingo staff vacancies that need to be filled on the kitchen crew as well as sellers on the bingo floor in any and all capacities. Volunteering can be a rewarding way to give back to the Parish that strives to serve us and our Church Community. There is absolutely no experience required, as on the job training is provided by the current staff members who are helpful and courteous and always willing to encourage a staff new-comer or welcome a veteran recruit. If you already have experience on the bingo floor...better yet! We are looking for bingo workers in all positions. Your help in any way will be appreciated by Father Soprano, and all of our Clergy and also by our loyal bingo players. We are hoping to recruit new volunteers who are willing to devote one to two days a month. So, how about it, are you ready to give it a no obligation whirl? It s a great way to broaden your social horizon and have fun meeting and interacting with a wide range of people, especially in this year when we are asked to do corporal works of mercy!
