By the death and rising again of your Son, Jesus the Christ, you have taken the sting from death, and give to us the living hope of eternal life. Accept our prayers and praise, that, even as we celebrate this day of resurrection, we may be transformed by the power of your Spirit, to be delivered from the dominion of sin and evil, and lifted into newness of life. Through him who lived, died and lives again with you, O God, ever one God, world without end. Amen. *Response - #2127 STF - Come and See Come and see, come and see, I am the way and the truth, said He. Follow me, follow me, Come as a child, O come and see. Leader: The Lord is on my side to help me; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. People: The Lord is my strength and my might; he has become my salvation. Leader: There are glad songs of victory in the tents of the righteous: The right hand of the Lord does valiantly; the right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly. *Affirmation of Faith - The Nicene Creed We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and became truly human. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. Offering RESPONSE TO THE WORD God calls us to be planters and builders and to enjoy the work of our hands. Reach deeply to dedicate the fruits of our labors, both what we share through the church and what we keep for other ventures. May everything we do with all our resources honor our crucified and risen Savior Prayer of Dedication Musical Meditation -
