DO YOU KNOW THE WILL OF GOD WORKS WITH THE LOVE OF GOD? Jesus came to earth to destroy the works or sin Adam introduced to humanity and to destroy the works of the Pharisees that were continuing the works of Adam and to destroy the works of 21 st Century Pharisees that are teaching Condemnation. The works of Adam and all Pharisees, Acquiring knowledge of good and evil with judging and condemning is the conclusion of the matter. The World s Condition is the Results of Judging Good and Evil. Jesus visited earth to stop the Pharisees portraying God as a tyrannical judge demanding obedience or everlasting torture would be the recompense. The Pharisees were committing the sin of judging when they were judging and the same sin is taking place today when someone judges. God said that He did not send Jesus to judge or condemn the world but that the world through him could be made whole. John 3:17 The Pharisees hated Jesus because he was rebuking their religious and pompous thoughts of having influence to judge and condemn ones they believed were sinners. There are thousands of denominations today with the same Pharisaical spirit of judging using their own opinionated doctrine that defines their concept of sin. The birth of every new denomination is the result of someone judging I am right and you are wrong. I wonder if ego influences a person to be the leader of a new church and seeing some that will follow him. One such denomination threatens going to hell for worshiping on Sunday. 1
Jesus said, NO TO ALL PHARISEES my Father like an earthly father loves His sons and would never hurt and definitely never have the thought of an eternal punishment for any disobedience. Jesus told many parables using earthly fathers and sons and comparing sons of God and our heavenly Father. Jesus told the story of a prodigal son to demonstrate the love of God. Jesus told his disciples I am going to tell stories in parables so everyone can understand and receive the blessings of God. The following verse written in Koine Greek by Matthew as he heard Jesus speak in Aramaic and then later translated into English by the King James translators. It is imperative to look at everything in scripture through a perception of God who is love and can do nothing apart from His being love. God s will operates when His love operates. Jesus was telling his disciples that they understood the kingdom of God because he had taught them. Jesus wanted to make understanding God uncomplicated for ones who were seeing and listening to him but not understanding. Consequently Jesus spoke the wisdom of God in farming language and Father son terms in order for everyone to have the correct perception of God. Pharisees acting without the love of God condemned the ignorant or uneducated citizens of Jerusalem. After Jesus had healed a man blind from birth the Pharisees questioned him and concluded with these remarks: John 9:34 They answered and said unto him, you were altogether born in sins, and dare to teach us? And they cast him out. The Pharisees were joined by the church in Rome to keep commoners or the uneducated in fear of sinning and going to hell. This has provided great wealth for the Catholic Church as indulgences were sold to escape hell. Jesus made knowing God simple therefore not a soul was excluded. 2
You could say the Pharisees were teaching a condemnation message that Jesus wanted to reverse to a love message. Jesus knew his Father had brought him to earth to talk about a cure for the many different consequences of sin and not to condemn anyone as the following verse speaks when it is correctly understood. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. The word world is kosmos in Greek and means all the inhabitants in the world. Read a Greek concordance and resolve that saved is sozo in the original Greek and means to be made physically whole. Saved does not mean escaping hell and going to heaven after dying. Mark 4:11-13 And he said unto them (disciples), unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. And he said unto them, know you not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables? In this verse Jesus said, I am going to make knowing God uncomplicated so everyone can know Him and their sins be forgiven so their lives can be made whole. Matthew 21:31& 32 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, the first. Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and you believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and you, when you had seen it, repented not afterward, that you might believe him. Probably the most popular Christian parable is the Prodigal Son that establishes a father s love never ends and is an allegory of God s love that never ends. The above story in Matthew, Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees and asks them which son did the will of his father? 3
Matthew 21:28=30 But what think you? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. The father s will for his two sons was to go into the vineyard and work. 1. The first son said NO but repented and went into the vineyard to work. 2. The second son said YES to his father but did not go into the field to work. The first son repented or changed his mind and obeyed his father. The second son agreed but disobeyed his father. Like many of the questions Jesus asked the Pharisees this story is telling them that outwardly they appear to be religious and obedient to God but inwardly their hearts are deceptive. The deception is their Judgmental attitude. The Pharisees exchanged the true God of love who can do nothing apart from love into a God who loves so few and damns so many. The publicans and harlots came to God because they had integrity of whom they were and knowing they were not in agreement with the God of wrath the Pharisees had preached. This is the good news they heard from John the Baptist. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. This was a great one liner for the publicans and harlots. The Lamb of God, Jesus, will UNILATERALLY expiate sin for all mankind. They quickly repented or changed their perception about the God the Pharisees had preached and came into agreement with the truth that God loves everyone. The Pharisees were in self-deception believing they were the right ones and the publicans and harlots were the evil ones. This allegory is about living in the kingdom of God which is the will of God. 4
Entrance into the kingdom of God is changing your perception about sin or about what you have been doing wrong. Sin in the original Greek means to miss the mark and failing to collect the prize. Missing the mark is not living in the kingdom of God and collecting the prize of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Pharisees were the religious ones and judged ones, in their opinion were doing wrong, as sinners. The Pharisees hated Jesus because he never threatened anyone with hell and was offering publicans and harlots an opportunity to live in the kingdom of God. Jesus spoke more about the kingdom of God than anything and knowledge of good and evil prevents living in the kingdom of God or not collecting the prize for Missing the mark. Jesus death on the cross destroyed the sin of missing the mark so living in the kingdom of God was made possible. I believe the church like the Pharisees descriptions of sin is really unintelligent. Start naming the sins traditions of men has initiated. Pretty scary isn t it? Jesus resurrection abolished death and restored immortality. The Pharisees haven t gone away they have changed their name to preachers of the gospel who threaten hell as a destination if you haven t accepted Jesus. The good news of the gospel is not that Jesus made a way to escape hell and go to heaven after dying. God s Good news does not have a stipulation for the good news to happen. The light or truth of the gospel is recorded one time in the Bible and is found in II Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. Figuratively, Immortality means sincere, genuineness and not able to be corrupted. 5
Literally, immortality means to live an everlasting life. This description has never happened and is difficult to grasp because we live in a linear dimension of time. I have a web site, www.immortalityclub.info and I tell my readers that thinking about immortality is a positive focus and is better than thinking about dying. Jesus said, Repent or change your perception of what the Pharisees have taught because your sins are forgiven without any contingencies and the kingdom of God is at hand. Because of the love of God Jesus willingly died on the cross as a Unilateral act of love that does not require a response to make it effective. God s love or any true love never requires a response. A response suggests that God s love is conditional and requires works. It grieves me to know that most Christians have no understanding of what the Love of God entails. It must affect God in a much greater way. A summary: 1. Adam introduced the knowledge of good and evil that had an attachment called, Judging. This was man s original sin. 2. Judging between good and evil has been the cause of many conflicts and removed peace in the world. 3. God sent Jesus as the Prince of Peace to earth, as the second Adam, not to condemn humanity but to unilaterally expiate the original sin of judging between good and evil. 4. The Jewish Pharisees were deeply rooted into judging and verbally accused anyone they decided had broken the Law of Moses as sinners. 5. The Pharisees hated Jesus because he continually denounced them and condemned their self righteousness to a spiritual level lower than publicans and harlots. 6
6. Jesus claimed he was the Son of God and forgave sins and that was an unforgivable approach to God according to the Pharisees judgmental spirit. 7. Satan eventually influenced the Pharisees to falsely accuse, falsely arrest, falsely tried, falsely convict, falsely condemn and falsely crucify Jesus. 8. The 21 st Century Pharisee has the same attitude and verbally sentences anyone who believes Jesus unilaterally expiated sin to hell after dying. 9. Believing that Jesus dying on the cross to expiate sin requires a response probably eliminates at least 95% of humanity. 10. Do you believe God is love and His mercy endures forever, saves 5% and damns 90% to billions of centuries in a burning fire? 11. Jesus literally had a single message, Seek first the kingdom of God and every thing else will be added. 12. Jesus never suggested or mentioned, Accept me or you will go to hell. 13. There is no need for hell as a location for everlasting punishment when the sin of JUDGING is expiated. chuck@godtruth.tv November 07, 2008 7
