GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE BY DONATING BLOOD Start the New Year right by checking your blood donor eligibility. Blood is a valuable natural resource within each of us. By donating blood we can share our joy in life and God s love with others. Many people think they can t donate, often due to outdated or misunderstood information. You can contact Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) at 877-25-VITAL to check your eligibility and get more information. Blood, like love, is for sharing. Please be a volunteer blood donor at the Hackensack Lions Blood Drive on Wed., January 16 th at St. Paul s Lutheran Church in Hackensack. Call Faith in Action at 218-675-5435 to set up an appointment and let us know if you need a ride to get there. On behalf of patients who will benefit, thank you! 6
