OUTREACH GIVING TREE: This year the Giving Tree will be dedicated to providing items for New Hope Ministries' Christmas Wish List. We will be collecting household goods and children's board games. The Giving Tree will be displayed in the Narthex starting Sunday, October 14, so please take a leaf and purchase the item indicated and return it to the tree unwrapped. Our collection will take place through Sunday, November 18, and your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you to the Mini Pizza Club kids for the beautifully painted leaves adorning our tree. CHILDREN/YOUTH CHRISTIAN ED: Graham Cracker Houses - Attention all Mount Calvary youth (and the young at heart): The annual Christmas Graham Cracker House Decorating Extravaganza is nearly upon us! This is one of the highlights of the holiday season, so don t miss out! Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 2nd, following the 10:00 service. The sign up is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. This event is fun for everyone - please feel free to invite family and friends. There will be a house for everyone. Be a part of this wonderful Mount Calvary tradition! Church School Teacher Meeting - Attention all church school teachers - there will be a meeting on Sunday, November 18 at 9:00 AM. Please bring your calendars so we can prepare for the new teaching schedules. Coffee (thanks to Lee) and a Fall themed breakfast treat will be provided. Mini Pizza Club (PreK-2nd) will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 5:30-7:00 PM. Mega Pizza Club (3rd - 5th) will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 5:30-7:00 PM. Youth Group (6th-12th) will be held on Sunday, November 18, 5:30-7:00 PM. Also, please mark your calendars for volunteering at the Central PA Food Bank on Monday, December 3rd, 6:00-8:00 PM.

OCTOBER 30: TIMELINE PROCESS: The vestry met with Canon Morrow on Tuesday, October 30 to go over our work with the Mutual Ministry Review. The vestry and Rev. Welin will continue to work on building community here at Mount Calvary. We will explore intentional ways that we can share conversation and link together all the ways that we gather and share our gifts. Our next work is to begin to form a parish survey. RESPONSE TO THE ANTI-SEMITIC VIOLENCE IN PITTSBURG: We are all saddened by the violence at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburg. As a response, we have sent a card of support to Temple Beth Shalom in Mechanicsburg. Thank you for sharing words of sympathy and support to our Jewish sisters and brothers, acknowledging that we stand with them for peace. OUTREACH FOOD: Please remember the Ecumenical Food Pantry. Donate food or money in the Narthex to support this mission of Mt. Calvary. Thank you! AT ST. STEPHENS: HOLIDAYS AFTER LOSS: On consecutive Thursdays starting November 15 through December 19.
