"Called to Peacemaking: Christ's Peace--Our Peace" The ideal of peace/reality of war, from a Biblical perspective and Christian history...aiming toward a personal response to Christ's call to peacemaking. Six weeks, with two identical classes on Thursdays (4 and 6:30 p.m.) beginning Jan. 17 th in Bldg 1, Room 25 (Library). Leader: Jim Brewster Winter Reading: The Book of Joy, by Archbishop Tutu and the Dalai Lama. After more than fifty years of exile and the violence of oppression, these two Nobel Peace Prize winners discuss the nature of true joy. Six weeks, Friday mornings, 9:30-11:00 beginning Jan. 25 th in Bldg 1, Rm 25 (Library). Leader: Jim Brewster There will be a Study on Prayer based on a book tled The Prayer Coin by Elisa Morgan beginning Thursday, January 17-February 21 from 10:00am- 11:30am in Bldg 1 in the Library. The focus of the study will be based on Jesus prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. The book is available via Amazon or Discovery House for $12-15. For more info, contact Susan Finch, 864-419- 7889.
