FAMILY WELLNESS My concern for children s health of Christian parents is the reason for this article. In my sphere of influence I continually witness sickness in the families of dedicated Christians. I know intelligent parents research and study how to maintain health for their children. My approach will be from statements God has made------------------------------------------ God s will is for his children to be well, healthy and free from accidents--- ALWAYS------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Lord spoke to me this morning about the time Paul and Silas were prisoners. Paul and Silas had an experience in Philippi that Luke recorded in the first book of the New Covenant, Acts 16:31. This experience was with a Roman prison keeper but as all scripture, it has a contemporary application. This scene was in Philippi where Paul and Silas were imprisoned for casting a demon out of a young woman. An earthquake opened the prison doors but Paul and Silas declined to escape. The keeper of the prison stopped his suicide attempt when he saw his prisoners hadn t left their cells and asked: WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAFE? The prison keeper was asking, How can I be secure from liability to harm, injury, danger, or risk: a safe place? Paul and Silas actions prevented the prison keeper suicide and made him safe and he wanted to know how this same safety could be a permanent condition. The keeper of the prison was Roman and speaking in Greek he asked, What must I do to be saved (sozo)? The Greek definition of sozo: From a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saos, "safe"); to save, i.e. deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): --heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole. Paul and Silas answered his question: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (made safe), and your house (family and children) 1
This was a one-liner but the word Believe has a greater meaning than to mentally accept. The expanded meaning that Paul undoubtedly addressed to the prison keeper can be found in Romans 10:9,10. That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart (mind) that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved (protected and made physically whole). For with the heart (mind) man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth (life and death are in the power of the tongue) confession is made unto salvation (physically healthy). The Greek definition for salvation-- soteria Feminine of a derivative (sozo) as (properly, abstract) noun; rescue or safety (physically or morally):--deliver, health, salvation, save, saving. Paul s expanded message, Have faith and trust in Jesus and what he teaches and you and all of your family members will be safe (made physically whole) and free from sickness, disease and accidents. These are God s intentions that Jesus gave his life for. This is my thought how the prison keeper received Paul conversation and can be received by anyone today. Jesus came to planet earth with a cure for the consequences of sin and in so doing made it possible for humanity to be physically whole, safe and healthy------- Believing Jesus came for another reason may be traditional but will not provide the benefits and entitlements God intended------------------------------------------------------- God intended humanity to receive Jesus and have life more abundantly, now in this everlasting lifetime. Life and life more abundantly is an expression for divine health and immortality. I have listened to excuses for 55 years why the expectations of God were not visible in church members and on May 12, 2009 something happened: I stepped out of the shoes of a Pharisee that I had walked in for 55 years and stepped into the shoes of Jesus. I can still hear my Father say, Thank you son for receiving my untraditional revelation. I did not send my Son Jesus into the world to condemn and judge; I sent him so all humanity could be made physically whole, safe and healthy. Be saved and receive salvation. And then, as I reflected on life, I discovered that the world hasn t rejected Jesus. The world has rejected the condemnation message the church added to Jesus 2
teaching three years after Jesus said, It is finished or everything I came for is accomplished. The added condemnation message was without Jesus knowledge or permission. Jesus is a love letter to humanity------t he church just has not mailed it. I believe God is grieving over the perversion the church has made for Jesus visit to earth---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus experienced crucifixion to abolish death and his resurrection restored immortality. This was and is God s plan for Jesus coming to earth. I believe God would call the church replacement theology, Dung. Any other incorrect thoughts about Jesus and his reason for coming to earth will continue a belief in death and rejecting immortality. But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. II Timothy 1:10 Jesus a bolished death and restored immortality. T he last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. I Corinthians 15:26 Adam introduced death, the first enemy----------------------------------------------------------- Jesus, the last Adam, abolished the last enemy, death-------------------------------------- The deception to believe in death is from Satan and he has no trouble deceiving the flesh of religious humanity. To only believe in understandable facets of God is not faith. Believing only what your comprehension perceives is double-mindedness. Are you beginning to recognize why the expectations of God s word are not visible in church members? Satan deceived Adam who was as perfect as any flesh could be and still Adam swallowed the lie to obtain knowledge of good and evil that evolved into judging. Jesus, as the last Adam, flesh was born from God s incorruptible seed and Satan could not deceive the Son of God and cannot deceive sons of God, like Jesus. 3
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever. I Peter 1:23. This is immortality. A born again metamorphose experience creates a son of God and like Jesus cannot be deceived by Satan to believe in death or any other false church tradition. Some non-intrusive but revealing questions: 1. Is born again and salvation the same experience? 2. Does the salvation experience create sons of God? 3. Does God need to be asked to heal sicknesses and diseases? 4. Is life and death for children in the power of parent s tongue? 5. Does the law of death create sickness, disease and accidents? 6. Does identifying with death or Satan, the enforcer of death matter? 7. I have come to steal, kill (death) and destroy. Whose plan is this? 8. I have come to give life and life more abundantly. Whose plan is this? I believe I can do this. -----------I don t believe I can do this. Both thoughts work. I believe in death. ---------------------- I don t believe in death. Both thoughts work. The physical umbilical cord when severed is replaced with an invisible spiritual umbilical cord that will always connect parents to their children. This is a DNA connection that provides the ability for parents to impart their beliefs into their adolescence children for instructions to live a Godly life. If a parent believes in death then sickness, disease and accident beliefs are imparted into their children while they are in life s educational program. Parents who believe in death can vicariously impart sickness into their children. This is just another meaning for sin or not totally believing as God has instructed and like any sin has only earthly consequences, like Satan promised------------------- I have come to steal, kill (death) and destroy. --------------------------------------- Abolishing a belief in death will allow God s promise------------------------------------------ Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly----------------------------------------------- Abandoning a belief in death also eliminates the need for a grave------------------------ The English word hell is a grave for the dead in Greek------------------------------------ Now you know another reason why I don t believe in H ell. 4
