CROSS CATHOLIC OUTREACH Serving the poor worldwide by empowering Catholic parishes and ministries already in place overseas to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, deliver medical relief to the sick, supply shelter to the homeless and break the poor s cycle of poverty through the gift of an education and self-help projects. Join us share this mission of love.

MANY WAYS TO SERVE While cash gifts are the most effective way to help Cross Catholic Outreach and serve the poor, we offer a variety of other opportunities for donor involvement as well. GIFT PLANNING If you re looking to create a legacy of giving that will impact future generations, we can assist you in choosing a gift model that will carry your compassion beyond your own life while providing tax benefits and even income. Wills and bequests, charitable gift annuities, and life estate reserves are among the variety of planned giving options offered through Cross Catholic Outreach. For more information, please contact Gift Planning Director Bill Fenton at 800-914-2420, ext. 239.

TANGIBLE GOODS-IN-KIND Do you or your organization have access to useful items such as medical equipment, bulk supplies of food, or other commodities in large quantities that you d like to donate to a good cause? Each year, Cross Catholic Outreach ships millions of dollars worth of donated goods to developing nations to support the work of our partner ministries. For more information, please contact Goods-In-Kind/Shipping Director Russell Griggs at 800-914-2420, ext. 152. PARISH DEVELOPMENT & SCHOOL PROJECTS Cross Catholic Outreach works with U.S. parishes, Catholic schools, and community organizations to sponsor specific and tangible projects in the developing world. We also offer special campaigns throughout the year, including Lent and Advent, providing opportunities for both schools and church groups to deepen their faith while impacting others with the love of Christ. To learn more about partnering with us for fundraising and community fellowship, please contact Parish Development Director Pam Lear at 800-914-2420, ext. 172.

SPECIAL EVENTS Donors interested in holding a fundraiser for a Cross Catholic Outreach project should contact our Special Events team. We host a variety of dynamic fundraising events that provide fun and fellowship with a purpose. If you would like to organize a formal gala, golf outing, bicycle ride, or other exciting activities with the intent of raising awareness and support for our overseas ministries, we can help you make your event a success. To learn more, please contact Special Events Director Veria Samaroo at 800-914-2420, ext. 235. SPECIAL PROJECTS WITH GREATER IMPACT Each year, Cross Catholic Outreach provides one-of-a-kind opportunities for donors to sponsor large-scale projects, such as building a school, houses, or a medical clinic. We will help you find a project that is a good match, and then we will send you updates on the progress of your project, so you can see how your gift is changing the lives of the poor. If you would like to make a high-level investment in the work of Cross Catholic Outreach, please contact International Development Director Victor Biggs at 800-914-2420, ext. 238.

STRONG CATHOLIC LEADERSHIP A strong, trusted organization is built on a solid foundation of respected Catholic leadership. In addition to having His Eminence Edwin Cardinal O Brien as its official patron, Cross Catholic Outreach is blessed with an impressive board of directors: Most Rev. Sam Jacobs, Bishop of Houma-Thibodaux, who serves as Chairman of the Board, and Mr. James J. Cavnar, President of Cross Catholic Outreach, as well as Most Rev. Richard J. Garcia, Bishop of Monterey; Most Rev. Thomas J. Rodi, Archbishop of Mobile; Most Rev. Dennis M. Schnurr, Archbishop of Cincinnati; Most Rev. Edward J. Slattery, Bishop of Tulsa; Most Rev. Kevin W. Vann, Bishop of Fort Worth; and Sr. Linda Koontz, who has ministered in the developing world for over 40 years and currently serves in Mexico.

And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 JOHN 3:16-18
